LET ME MAKE THIS CATEGORICALLY CLEAR.
Nigeria cannot afford another cycle of political distractions, manufactured divisions and the familiar politics that have kept our country struggling for decades.
Anyone who genuinely desires a new direction for Nigeria must understand that our collective priority should be national progress, not personal egos, political vendettas or the fragmentation of public support. We must be careful not to allow internal disagreements and competing political interests to undermine the broader quest for meaningful change.
Earlier today, Sowore, or whoever manages his X account, took a swipe at Peter Gregory Obi. Hours later, reports emerged that Sowore had allegedly been attacked in Ado-Ekiti. Whatever the circumstances surrounding this incident, let me be unequivocal: political disagreements must never become an excuse for violence, intimidation or the suppression of anyone's freedom of expression.
We cannot condemn political intolerance when it affects our preferred voices and excuse it when it affects those with whom we disagree. The principles of justice, freedom and accountability must apply to everyone.
However, let nobody mistake our commitment to peaceful democratic engagement for political naivety. Nigerians have endured too much hardship, broken promises and years of leadership failures. We cannot continue normalising the very practices that have undermined our economy, destroyed livelihoods and compromised the future of generations yet unborn.
Our loyalty must ultimately be to Nigeria and the ideals of good governance, transparency, justice, economic opportunity and human dignity.
We must be bold enough to challenge those who stand in the way of progress, regardless of their political affiliation, while remaining principled enough to respect their fundamental rights.
The Nigerian dream is bigger than any individual, political party or personal ambition.
We want a country that works. We want leadership that serves. We want institutions that protect citizens. We want an economy that creates opportunities rather than poverty.
Our differences must never become greater than our common destiny.
NIGERIA MUST WORK. NIGERIA MUST RISE. AND THE NIGERIAN DREAM MUST NOT DIE! 🇳🇬
We have been brutally attacked and injured by well armed government-sponsored thugs in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The @OfficialDSSNG provided these attackers with our exact location, enabling them to carry out this vicious assault. We won’t back down! We have a country to liberate!

BREAKING: SOWORE REPORTS ATTACK BY THUGS INSIDE A RESTAURANT IN ADO-EKITI
Human rights activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has reported that he and his team were attacked by thugs inside a restaurant in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Further details about the incident are awaited.

It’s seem they have mass-reported his post 💔💔
A lady is dragging a guy because she didn’t allow him to hit on the first date. He sent her 300k, invited her over for Netflix and chill, but when she got there he started touching her and expected to eat some of her cakes.
She refused, left his house in annoyance, and realized he blocked her everywhere.
Officially a solid old boys today.
Up school….the only school.

Since 1999, Nigeria has had nine Senate Presidents, with five hailing from the South-East.
While many passed laws that led to our current difficulties, Bukola Saraki’s tenure (2015–2019) proved what the office can achieve for the people.
As leader of the 8th Assembly, he refused to be a rubber stamp, aggressively checking executive power by rejecting President Buhari's $29.96 billion loan request and blocking controversial appointments.
This independent stance led to a major political fallout with the presidency in 2019.
Since his departure, the Senate has blindly approved every executive bill, causing the public to lose hope.
For Nigeria to progress, we need a Senate leadership that is truly independent and stands firmly with the citizens.
