Beau Bayh was using his dad’s one-bedroom condo in downtown Indianapolis as his primary residence to get absentee ballots while attending a private high school in D.C. (the cost of which is more than a year at IU). This is the same condo that his father, Evan Bayh, said was his primary residence, yet according to his own schedule he did not spend a single night at the condo during his last year in office. Instead, when he was in town he would use taxpayer dollars to stay in hotels, or have others pay for him to stay in hotels only a few minutes from his condo.
This makes sense, seeing as the condo is only one bedroom, but apparently it didn’t see much use from any of the Bayhs!

If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my words, but I don’t think I am and I want to note this:
I think that the polls are wrong again. I don’t think that they’re off by a 2016 margin (or 2020), but they don’t have to be. I think election night will look a lot like 2022, just in reverse.
As I look around the country, I just don’t believe that Ashley Moody only leads Angie Nixon by 6. I don’t believe that Cindy Hyde-Smith only leads Colom by 4. I don’t believe Kansas is a dead heat, nor do I believe Indiana is, nor do I believe Iowa is (or Minnesota, for that matter).
I think that on election night we’re going to see Max Engling win by 4-6 in Indiana, I think we’ll see Ashley Hinson win in Iowa (and maybe Zach Lahn too), I think we see Paxton walk away in Texas by a few points, and that we see Moody blow it out in Florida. I’d even give Husted and Ramaswamy the edge in Ohio, and probably bet on Rogers right now in Michigan.
The polls don’t have to be that wrong for us to have a solid election night, we just need a few close ones to go our way.

And they end up losing every single time?
Indiana has the second largest polling bias in the country against Republicans. So I crunched the numbers about the historic polling misses in the last 3 months before the election in the most recent 10 years of major statewide races.
With @MaxForIndiana currently down by 4% in the polling average, I think the election will likely be close (everyone go early vote!!!), but it is clear Indiana pollsters are literally incapable of getting a good sample of the MAGA base and he will win.
