Kairos Power recently produced 8 metrics tons of high-purity Flibe that will soon be tested in our second Engineering Test Unit.
The campaign builds on a previous production run at our Molten Salt Purification Plant in Elmore, Ohio. We were able to produce salt using more advanced processing and purification techniques to reach the purity levels required for nuclear coolant operations.

Meet Nick👋, one of our talented quality control inspectors in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
He makes sure all activities at the Hermes 2 site are up to code as we prepare for nuclear construction.
Interested in joining his team? We're hiring: bit.ly/3S5AuNG
That’s a wrap…almost.
It’s been an incredible week celebrating #NuclearSciWeek in New Mexico and Tennessee.
See you tomorrow for Nuclear Energy Discovery Day in Oak Ridge!
It was a pleasure hosting @ANS_org President Mark Peters at our Reactor Demonstration Campus in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, this week.
Dr. Peters met with Kairos Power staff members and got a firsthand look at the progress we’re making on Hermes 2, which will deliver up to 50 MW of reliable power to the @TVAnews grid to help power @Google data centers.
What can a nuclear experiment from the 1960s teach us today about advanced reactors?
The Molten Salt Reactor Experiment at @ORNL pioneered molten salt research and is helping to inform the development of our fluoride salt-cooled high-temperature reactor.
#NuclearSciWeek
Are you ready for #NuclearSciWeek?
Our teams in Albuquerque and Oak Ridge will be connecting with local communities to share the science, technology, and career opportunities behind advanced reactors.
If you’re visiting @nuclearmuseum or @amseonline this week, stop by and say hi!
This combined private investment and @ENERGY financing is helping to advance Hermes 2 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Thank you to @googleventures, @DCVC, Samsung C&T, Nuclear Capital Partners, Mavrik, and @GovNuclear for supporting our path to deployment.

The future of nuclear energy depends on more than technology. It also depends on the people who will build it. @KairosPower's NuCAMP collaboration is bringing research, industry and education together to strengthen nuclear manufacturing and workforce development.
▶️ See how.
Update: The Pebble Handling Storage System was recently installed in our Engineering Test Unit 2.
It’s the 41st and final equipment skid making up our first fully modular, reactor-scale non-nuclear hardware test in Albuquerque.
The PHSS moves pebbles in and out of the reactor core to support online refueling and is one of several primary systems we’ll be testing during operations early next year.

Operating a reactor is one thing. Maintaining it is another.
ETU 3 is giving our teams a chance to test precast concrete shielding designs and remote maintenance technologies to help reduce operating costs for our future fleet.
It will also serve as a training platform for future operators.

Every day is #ManufacturingDay at Kairos Power thanks to dedicated machinists like Chamroeun.
He turns complex ideas into real hardware for our advanced reactor projects.
Interested in joining Chamroeun on a world-class manufacturing team?

We learn by building.
The final equipment skid has been moved into our Engineering Test Unit 2 enclosure in Albuquerque.
It’s one of more than three dozen skids that are stacked and integrated to form our first modularly built, non-nuclear hardware test.
ETU 2 will be the world’s largest Flibe molten salt system and will help inform the design, build, and operations of our Hermes 2 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
