The Passover story is one of liberation. It should inspire us to fight for liberation for all. The promised land will never require be built on violent ethno nationalism. When we say “next year in Jerusalem” I hope we are praying for peace
I just realized I never shared here. But Ciaran/ChaiCiLatte has proven to be a manipulative abuser who boundary pushes his partners to the point of SA, and then paints said partners as abusive and ruins their reputations.
He is not safe to have in your communities.

I am one of multiple community leaders of marginalized communities who he convinced he was a good hearted and giving person. I legitimately thought he was one of my best streamer friends.
I now don’t believe my friend ever existed.

It’s not a moral failing. You didn’t deserve it. Most people will experience disability at some point in their lives

A lot of white disabled people that say they're supportive of marginalized people. Mean only the white disabled ones. Cause why don't you acknowledge Black History Month. Why do you block Black disabled people that speak up on the racism they face in the disability community.

A doctor posted earlier that she saved a life because she believed her patient.
She described him as “strong”, a father, a firefighter. Someone who wouldn’t complain for no reason.
How can HCWs not realize this bias insinuates others DO complain for no reason? 🧵

Try replacing a no politics rule with a no bigotry rule. Too many of us have been told not to talk about our identities in no politics streams. Because marginalized lives are politicized.

I've been able to get to the point where Sery_Bot can be in your Twitch channel full time.
No more joining/leaving when you stream. Now it's always there when you need him.

Everyone needs people in their lives that will call them in if they're doing something harmful to themselves or others. We need people that can have hard conversations with us. Not just people that will defend us regardless of what we do or say.

One thing I've learned over the years is that the people you surround yourself with can say a lot about you. I've noticed abusers tend to surround themselves with enablers and people that will be "loyal" to them regardless of what they do. That's not healthy and inhibits growth.
