UPDATE: The first trial hearing of SIWON's legal action will be held next month According to a report by Sisa Journal on the 3rd, the first hearing in the 100 million won damages lawsuit filed by SIWON against five individuals, including a person identified as Kim, will be held on December 10 at the Seoul Central District Court. This will be the first trial, approximately seven months after the complaint was filed on May 18. Earlier, on July 2 (local time), the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted SIWON’s application for discovery, allowing him to request information from platform operators X and Google in order to obtain the identities of 10 X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube users. Based on this, SIWON’s side requested the provision of information necessary to identify the authors of posts on X and YouTube, including their names, dates of birth, and addresses.
