One of the things that kills me is when I find genuinely good content
and I get excited to consume more
to then learn the person gave up and stopped uploading, god it hurts to see talent get stopped by the struggles of life and self doubt
If you’re reading this, KEEP GOING!!

A lot is going on in this thread, and I’m just gonna give my thoughts.
First off, to be cautious is totally okay. Nothing wrong with being wary.
Riftbound was announced as Project K before it was rebranded, so just a name change alone isn’t a bad thing.
I’ve known about Origins for a long time, back when it was called Project O, and my initial excitement for the game was VERY LOW bc it was a crypto and Web3 game. But the reason it started out that way was bc they were looking for a way to give the players digital ownership over their cards.
You said their initial launch must have failed, but the game never launched in the first place. It was just them revealing the game while it was still in development.
Development isn’t easy, and where you start isn’t always where you end. The game did pivot away from crypto to the Steam Marketplace, but that’s a net positive overall, and that’s when I dove headfirst into the game.
If someone is unaware of the Steam Marketplace, I’d understand why they’d be skeptical, but there’s a ton of games now that operate through it. Counter-Strike has been using it for over a decade to trade and sell skins, and last year alone they generated a billion dollars in revenue.
And with that much money on the table in the Steam Marketplace, I see zero reason for them to ever go back to the old model.
The same vision from the devs is still the same: give the players digital ownership over their cards, and that’s just why they started with nfts.

You also showed a roadmap for Bloodline, and that was for a game they tried making before Origins (Project O), and they don’t hide the fact that game failed, and they scrapped it to start over fresh. I’ve actually seen firsthand the devs correcting people when they say Origins is their first game.
I am a very cautious person myself, and I’m not naive, and I’ve spent hours and hours in calls with the devs, and the more I learn about this game, and i see the passion the devs have, the more I’m convinced this is going to be one of the greatest card games of all time.

Sunday we make history!
Over the last 5 days, over 2,000 skilled competitors have battled it out through 5 qualifier rounds to reach the @origins_tcg Crimson Cup Playoffs!
Tomorrow begins with hundreds of the best competitors from the last 5 days and ends with only 4!
Sunday is the day the 1st @origins_tcg champion is born!
Sunday is also the day we make competition and collecting history, as the winner of the Crimson Cup walks away with the 1st digital 1/1 tournament card that they actually own!
Keep it as a trophy, sell it to the highest bidder, gift it to a certain CEO who loves to collect ….. the choice is theirs!
And IMO that's pretty freakin epic!
Who's competing tomorrow, and who's your favorite to win it all?

this is the best gamer rant of 2026
imagine McDonalds said they’re only serving burgers with vegetarian soy meat tomorrow
you can’t ignore what your fanbase wants for a decade, and then be upset whenever your fanbase stopped buying the product
yeah this games gonna be absolutely massive
What a great way to start the day.....
Just realized that our game @origins_tcg is now the #2 game under TOP DECKBUILDING DEMOS on Steam, next to the one and only @PlayGuildrun.
If you haven't already, take this as your sign to try both games this month. I may be a tad biased, but they are pretty awesome!
