Some people will use the ruruba book to claim India and other places as other inspirations for arabasta HOWEVER it is important to note that while the ruruba book is official it is NOT canon nor was it written or approved by oda. And it’s also the only source mentioning India.

It is because like I said. It's supervised by Oda and with Egypt/India case, it doesn't contradict the manga or SBS but expands on it. It would be contradiction if this magazine claimed that Arabasta is NOT based on Egypt. But it doesn't. So try again. :)
