Security is a shared responsibility in our industry. We stand with @Binance and the broader crypto community following today's security incident. Transparency is at our core: We are aware of reports that stolen funds have been routed through Bitget Wallet's crosschain bridge. We are actively working with Binance and security partners to identify and disrupt illicit fund movements, including: • Blacklisting flagged wallet addresses • Real-time onchain monitoring & screening suspicious txns • Proactively providing real-time updates on fund movement from our explorer to Binance security team • Coordinating with bridge providers, liquidity partners & security teams to restrict further movement wherever technically possible In addition to the above, our security team has been working around the clock coordinating with Binance security, blocking new wallet addresses from using our bridge services as soon as they are flagged. Permissionless infrastructure does not mean turning a blind eye to illicit activity. We have done the same for previous events, and remain committed to supporting the wider ecosystem in tracing stolen funds and preventing misuse of our services.
