Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers reportedly had a text thread competing to pull over the most Black drivers, while using racial slurs in discussions about force against Black residents. More than half a dozen officers have reportedly been recommended for termination or quit.
A badge should NEVER be a license for discrimination! These allegations call into question traffic stops and use-of-force incidents involving these officers!

East of Nashville. The illnesses developed late Thursday night into Friday morning, with nausea and vomiting among the symptoms reported. 30 hospitalized. Cause is unknown/not communicated. City of Lebanon, Wilson County EMA, and TN Dept of Health are all refusing to comment.
