I don't discount or dismiss anything that any supporters' group is doing. I completely echo the sentiment that we should all be standing together, united in our approach.
But for that unity to mean anything, the whole movement needs to be inclusive. Whether you're a regular match-going supporter, someone who occasionally attends games, or someone who follows United from home or watches in the pub, everyone should feel part of it. If we aren't inclusive of all supporters, then ultimately, we'll always be representing a minority rather than the wider fanbase.
Over the last month, I've shared some thoughts with a number of people about developing a strategy that genuinely makes our feelings known, not just to the Glazer family, but also to INEOS, which now controls the club's footballing operations.
For me, visibility is one of the most important aspects of any protest against the club. We have plenty of ideas to explore, and several stages to what I've been proposing. But throwing everything out there at once risks diluting the message. We need to keep the issue visible, keep raising it and build momentum over time.
Ultimately, though, if we do nothing, what is the point?
My proposal is that we bring Green & Gold back.
Start wearing those colours again. Make a visible statement that you are unhappy with the current state of our football club and the direction it is heading in.
It's simple. It doesn't require much organisation, financial commitment, or effort. But collectively, it can make a powerful visual statement. Bringing Green & Gold back into the stadium, around the ground, and across social media would show unity and make it clear that supporters still feel the same way.
It can start with two simple things:
- Wear Green & Gold to the match.
- Update your social media profiles to show your support for Green & Gold.
This is just the first step. It's about visibility, raising awareness and, above all, unity.
We don't all have to agree on every approach or action, but we should be able to stand together on something that reflects how we feel about OUR club's current state.
Shoot me down if you want, but if you do, at least come forward with an alternative that is realistic and achievable. This is about bringing supporters together, not creating further divisions between us.
We have one common enemy here. That's where we should focus. Not on each other.

So here’s where we are at…..
@The__1958 cannot fight this battle against the owners on their own, that’s plain to see.
Unless ALL major supporters groups of MANCHESTER UNITED come together and start singing from the same song sheet then we are totally fucked.
It’s a now or never moment in my opinion. it’s time for every supporters club, fan group and offical trust to work towards a greater good.
Fuck dialogue with the club, it’s pointless and has been for years.
I believe the only way forward is for the FAB and FF to cut the club off with a vote of no confidence. That’s the start. Then…. Let your feet do the talking, however that looks. Any details of protests, be it a walk out, sit in, boycott or whatever the plan may be will be utterly pointless unless everyone supports it.
Thats the sad reality here, time to wake the fuck up or……
Enjoy Ratcliffe and the Glazers for the unforeseeable

Such disingenuous bullshit.
They committed major crime after major crime to make their cheating happen. Even sought to defraud the Commission.
That alone is enough to be far worse than Armstrong.
But you think villains like those would stop at that? You’re a moron or a liar.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣
He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage.
City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.

**THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE SALOON**
Our club have acted from day one as though the new stadium is already a done deal.
Surveys built around theoretical scenarios, diluting the voices of the very people who fill Old Trafford and have devoted their lives to this club.
There is a rot, a decay, a sense of hopelessness all due to the Glazers and Ratcliffe. They have sucked the life and dignity out of our club.
**Make no mistake. We are at a crossroads**
Act now or wave goodbye to the Manchester United you once knew.
Over the coming weeks, we will lay out clear plans. Plans that demand **ACTION**
And those actions will be down to **YOU, the fanbase.**
Not The 1958. Not another supporters' group. Not somebody else.
**YOU**
You might not like us. You might think we should smash the place up or somehow empty a 75,000 seat stadium.
We don't care what you think of us. It's all irrelevant.
This is bigger than The 1958. Bigger than egos, personalities and petty differences.
**Get behind the action or STFU when the club tramples all over you.**
Stop waiting for somebody else to fight your battles.
Because if we sit back and everything we've warned about becomes reality, don't start complaining that nobody did anything.
**You were warned. You had a choice.**
The plans will be crystal clear. The actions will be crystal clear.
The question is whether enough Reds give a shit to follow through.

🚨 Ian Holloway blasts Manchester City: “Absolute disgrace, they’ve ruined the game.”
🗣️ “You (Manchester City) are a disgrace! You have tarred it so badly.
I (Blackpool) lost because we weren’t quite good enough. We weren’t quite good enough because the other team was allowed to cheat. And if you didn’t know they were cheating, I’m sorry, you’ve turned a blind eye to that.
For me, it’s all too late now. I would absolutely take everything away from every single one of them and make them start again right now.
It’s a disgrace, and they’re still not owning up to it. What type of people do they actually want to be?
And as for Pep, did he know it was happening? No, I don’t think so. I don’t think he knew that.
It’s the people at the very, very top who are trying to cheat this game, and I would throw them out.
Why have they still got the company? Why do they still own it? Why are they still allowed to do that?
Get lost. How dare you ruin what is part of our country’s DNA? Honesty.
Every one of us, mining villages, God knows what. Why it all started, who knows, but it’s all about a team and believing that you can fairly be better than someone else.
And they’re going to ruin it right at the top of the game.
Absolute disgrace.”

who ordered the Sham & Pineapple
The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City have been found guilty of all charges related to breaches of Premier League financial rules between 2009-10 and 2017-18.
An independent Commission found that during that time period, the club arranged "sham contracts" with a number of its commercial partners, as well as "relying on sham agreements to artificially inflate the club's revenues and reduce its costs".
The statement also said that City were guilty of the majority of charges in relation to its failure to co-operate, but an exact figure was not given.

Key figures in here are independent commission saying:
🔺£830.69m of income wrongly recorded as commerical income when commission says it should have been treated as ADUG equity contributions
🔺Expenses understated by £8.866m, £7.4m and £0.5m
🔺"The Fordham arrangement" led to another £24.5m of "pretend" operating income
🔺£49.414m of operating expenses wrongly excluded
➡️So revenues inflated & costs reduced by more than £900m #mcfc

It’s not ok. And we’ve been banging on about it for 2 decades whilst everyone just laughed.
But it’s not cheating. It’s not fraud. And it’s not cooking the books, fake sponsors etc. Are you understanding it a bit better now?

A historic decision for English football, and one that comes to crown the work I carried out through Football Leaks. Today, we all know that, through structural manipulation and financial manoeuvring, Manchester City did not merely circumvent the rules, they turned them into a mere formality, challenging any attempt to preserve the integrity of the competition. That meticulously orchestrated fraud will finally be subject to punishment, and the impact will not merely be turbulent, but truly devastating for the Cityzens.
Ironically, I cannot help but remember Pep Guardiola's words at his first press conference as City manager: "Fasten your seat belts".

Today has laid bare just how divided our fanbase really is, and it needs calling out. We spend far too much energy turning on each other instead of directing that anger and frustration where it actually belongs: at the club's ownership and the people running the business.
Infighting is exactly what the board wants: divide and conquer. Look at other clubs; their supporters unite when it matters. The only real solidarity we’ve shown recently was coming together to issue a statement on the restrictions/sanctions saga.
Keep sight of what actually matters:
• Holding a failing ownership to account
• Pushing back against the club targeting its own fans
• Fighting unfair ticket pricing
None of that is the fault of fellow supporters, supporter groups such as TRA & The 1958, MUST, the FF, or FAB. The blame lies squarely with the club. Everyone will have an opinion, but there's no point in dividing our own fanbase over it.
We have to focus on the real targets, not the noise.

I've interviewed maybe 9-1,000 footballers. So many say their debut is the highlight of their career. Even CL winners.
JJ could've made his tonight, likely off the bench.
Such poor advice to tell him not to train with the first team and rule himself out. Such a shame.

#MUFC argue one thing about their controversial anti-ticket touting crackdown & fans take a very different view of the process.
But what is clear is the growing disconnect between the club & its regular, match going support who feel increasingly pushed out and unwanted.

This should be a permanent fixture until that dusty old scruff is gone. One of the biggest games of the season tomorrow, the Manchester derby, and I don’t know anyone who’s arsed. The fire’s gone out.
On Sunday there will be no flag display on The Stretford End. In its place, a single banner will hang above the players’ tunnel with a clear message to the owners, directors and decision-making staff at Manchester United:
“THE WAY YOU TREAT US IS A DISGRACE”
This isn’t a ‘TRA’ message, it’s a message on behalf of every genuine fan group, match-going supporter, supporters’ club and fan representative who has either contacted us directly or been negatively impacted by the recent behaviour of The Club. It’s an honest, heartfelt cry for recognition from the maligned, vilified, and misrepresented beating heart of our football club – the generational match-going supporters.
Neither is this solely a ‘Manchester United’ problem, this is a league-wide crisis that should be addressed at every club, regardless of rivalries and history. Without drastic changes, there will be no rivalries in the future vision for football shared by the decision makers.
Whilst we still advocate for a change in ownership, we believe that there should be a realistic roadmap for any protest if it is to act as a catalyst for change.
Match-going supporters should be prioritised over all others within the Club’s Fan Engagement model and all aspects of the Fans’ Forum process should be reviewed & improved to ensure that its fit for purpose. Dedicated fan representation that engages openly and regularly with the match-going supporters and proactively fights to ensure that they are treated as a priority by The Club is essential. Unless our generational match-going support is given a real voice that is actually listened to, the little that remains of our fan culture will soon be gone forever.
TRA aren’t a protest group, we’re an ‘atmosphere’ group but we’ve never shied away from making our position clear when we believe not doing so would be to the detriment of the interests of match-going supporters. We hope that you’ll understand and support our decision and that those of you who are asking for meaningful change and are able to help will stand up and be counted when called upon in the near future.
Until then, we’ll continue to fully back and support the players and manager throughout, starting with the derby on Sunday.
