Lately I’ve been really disappointed by Helluva boss but the choice to keep robofizz as a torture and vent outlet for Blitzø is actually amazing I’m gonna give them flowers for that

a series from an actual nazi gets a fandom while bunlith gets a hate campaign for literally no reason other than it being outspokenly trans, anyone else hear those ominous bells tolling or is it just me

I dont get it, the creator of high guardian spice gets bullied off the internet but the chimptopia guy gets a full on redemption arc despite supporting a white supremacist.
Everyone is (rightfully) talking about the immense talent and effort this movie took with its technique, but not enough people are praising it for being a terrific fantasy movie, the best in years. One that understands the meaning of war and politics in a different setting.
LAIKA's ‘WILDWOOD’ has the largest battle sequence ever for a stop-motion film.
• Spans 12 minutes with over 400 shots
• Contains approx 3,000 characters
• 5 distinct sets were made — all combined were larger than the length of a building
• One person was specifically hired to track scarring & scratching on the lead character throughout the battle to ensure maximum detail

My wife and I went to watch this yesterday–
You know how people talk about how advanced science is indistinguishable from magic?
That’s the level these Laika animators are operating on.
Hand-made magic born from human passion, skill and effort. Breathtaking.

Alexandra from Wildwood may be one of the best villains we've had in the 2020s.
This is a complex, tragic villain that nevertheless reminds the audience that she is a VILLAIN.
She is not some misunderstood person that needs love, nor is she a political strawman allegory.
