A song moves when people move with it. DEION is out now. If it speaks to you, pass it forward.

We tell independent artists to support each other, but there's another conversation worth having.
Are we building relationships or just exchanging promotional favors?
Real support should create opportunities, knowledge, resources, and sustainable relationships.

Album sales is something we should use to congratulate artists but it means absolutely nothing in terms of quality of music. I can't imagine being 15 hearing Port of Miami and looking up the first week sales. I didnt give a single fxck lol AT ALL
Streams are attention.
Ownership is leverage.
The real question is what happens after somebody presses play.
Some survival habits are useful when youβre trying to survive.
They become liabilities when youβre trying to build.
Suspicion.
Ego.
Short-term thinking.
Instant gratification.
Always proving something.

If you only listen to whatβs on the charts, radio or the viral song at the moment.
Of course your gonna think βrap is deadβ, No, you just donβt know good music and how to find it.
Thereβs a version of you that only exists because you refused to give up on yourself.
Donβt lose sight of that person.
Tap in to DEION. Out now. keepright.ffm.to/deion.ODL

Leadership is lonely. Ambition is lonely. Building is lonely.
Even if you have a great company or great spouse, a lot of the journey is internal & you're on your own.
It's really hard to bear, and most people will drop out over time.
You have to want it in your core.
Bandcamp Friday. If Keep Rightβs music speaks to you, support the independent grindβcop a track or album. Every purchase fuels the next move. keepright.bandcamp.com/

I like being the underdog. I like being counted out.
When I came into the league, I couldnβt shoot, and people let me know it. I think thatβs part of what pushed me. If you count me out, Iβm only going to work harder, and Iβll be ready when the moment comes.
Mamdani: Our job is not to lecture Americans on the choices that they've made. Our job is to listen, and then our job is to lead, and now we have the opportunity to lead with a mandate the likes of which we haven't seen in our country for generations, and that is an opportunity to deliver the kind of change that Americans can feelβ¦
The rat race isnβt simply working for somebody else.
Itβs spending your entire life trading time for money without ever building anything that can eventually work without you.
A job can be useful.
A career can be valuable.
But ownership changes the equation.
