Census Bureau proposal for 2030: only citizens and green-card holders would count toward House seats. Comments close Monday night.
Should apportionment count every person, or only citizens and permanent residents?

And this…this my friends is why I keep telling you that President Trump is having a much harder time holding people accountable than you realize. Almost every attempt to hold these people accountable has been blocked by a judge somewhere. This isn’t on Trump, it’s on the judicial branch and it only gets worse if Democrats take power. So vote accordingly.

A court that restrains itself and sends hard questions back to voters, like it did in Dobbs, protects both sides. Should nine justices ever override millions of voters on something the Constitution doesn't address?

I think any pilot listening to the ATC recording of the crash today would be in tears. Prayers for the families involved.
Democrats spent years driving up groceries, gas, and rent. Now they’re running class warfare: promise free stuff to people too distracted to notice it won’t work. Mamdani did it in NYC. The DSA wants to do it nationwide. Put them back in power and you get the same wrecked prices, plus a bigger bill for the “free” part.

We don't need most of the government we currently have (and we clearly can't afford it.)
Between 1820 and 1900, real GDP per capita in the United States grew eightfold. No welfare state. No central bank. No income tax. The federal government consumed less than 3% of GDP for most of that period, and the results speak for themselves.
Secure property rights, contract enforcement, and a commodity-backed dollar created the conditions where capital formation exploded. Entrepreneurs knew that what they built, they kept. John D. Rockefeller drove kerosene prices from 58 cents per gallon in 1865 to under 8 cents by 1885, delivering affordable light to millions of ordinary households, not through government mandate but through relentless productive competition.
Real wages for manufacturing workers doubled between 1860 and 1890. Immigration surged because workers across Europe calculated, correctly, that their labor earned more in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh than anywhere in the old world. Markets made that signal clear.
Critics point to inequality, child labor, and dangerous working conditions, ignoring that mass poverty preceded industrial capitalism. Andrew Carnegie's Pittsburgh was brutal, but it was also dramatically better than the subsistence farming the workers' grandparents had endured.
The railroad network grew from 9,000 miles in 1850 to over 160,000 miles by 1890, financed almost entirely by private capital once you exclude the genuinely corrupt land-grant subsidies, which free market thinkers condemned at the time. State intervention produced scandals; private lines produced the freight.
Minimal government produced the fastest sustained material improvement in recorded human history to that point.
Utah judge tosses DOJ's voter-roll suit, the 27th dismissal of 31. Judges picked by both parties, incl. nine Trump appointees, rejected DOJ's reading of a 1960 law. Clean rolls and privacy aren't mutually exclusive.

Courts give more protection to illegal aliens than US citizens.
Why is a court pretending that the federal government is not entitled to inspect voter lists? The “confidential” social security numbers are already available to federal gov which issues them!
Feds (without warrants) routinely dig through your phone records, bank statements and everything else but checking to see if someone voting to control our nation is a citizen is not allowed?!
Make it make sense.

Both parties invoke the 1983 Social Security rescue. Neither tells the whole story: it raised the retirement age AND raised taxes. Trust fund runs short late 2032.

Social Security's retirement trust fund is projected to run out of reserves in late 2032. After that, incoming taxes would cover only 78% of scheduled benefits.
Which half of the 1983 rescue do Democrats and Republicans each leave out?

Work should always pay. When the rules make a raise cost a family, how would you fix them?
A raise is supposed to be good news. For some working families, the law takes most of it back.
@USCBO and HHS researchers have measured it, and both sides see a fix.
Have you ever turned down a raise or extra hours because of what it would cost your family? 👇
