ditto, at least the job I applied for will be open again for me to try again
Made it through three rounds of interviews for a job I genuinely wanted, only to find out today that I didn't get it. I'm so disappointed. Not just because I wanted the job, but because now I have to go back to the soul-sucking process of job hunting, sending out endless applications, preparing for interviews, and getting my hopes up all over again. I'm exhausted. I just want someone to give me a damn chance. 😭

I didn’t get invited to any Halloween parties tonight, so I’ll make my own flavor party in the smoker.

In just these past two weeks we have seen: 1. Widespread civil unrest and riots in France. 2. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Albania. 3. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Italy. 4. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Spain. 5. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Portugal. 6. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Belgium. 7. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Serbia. 8. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Georgia. 9. Widespread civil unrest and an apparent judicial coup in Poland. 10. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Czechia (including an attempted takeover of the Parliament building). 11. Widespread student protests in Greece. 12. Targeted student protests in Indonesia. 13. Localized violent protests in India. 14. An apparently fraudulent election in Brazil where the presumed presidential election winner was forced to flee the country under threat of arrest by his opponent. 15. The uncovering of a Color Revolution plot in the USA led by embittered former USAID employees and ex-military members. That’s a lot to be happening all at once, don’t you think? And the USA is having midterm elections next week. You know, if I was a conspiracy-minded type I might be connecting some dots here. 🧐

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Yes, data backs this. StatsCan recorded 120,640 emigrants from Canada in 2025, the highest since 1952. US immigrant visas to Canadians rose 142% vs recent averages, while falling sharply from nearly every other country. The US remains the top destination, especially for skilled workers amid wage and opportunity gaps.

Palliser’s Triangle is a region in the Canadian Prairies (mainly southern Alberta and Saskatchewan) that the 1857–1860 Palliser Expedition identified as too dry for reliable farming. However, today it produces a significant amount of wheat and 99% of Canada's Canola production. My water/farm truck shit the bed, so if you know anyone selling a used four wheel drive truck, let me know. Make/Model isn’t important, just right price and half decent condition (pic of old truck for attention)
