โFunโ fact: She passed away March 11, but I was only told April 2. Everyone on my dadโs side of the family (he got her after my parents divorced) โforgotโ to tell me. And โdidnโt realizeโ I wanted her ashes EVEN THOUGH I asked for over a decade to get them when she passed.
(1/3) Another thing: My dad always โjokedโ that Alaโs name โcanโt be Alaโ because it โsounds like Allahโ, and thatโs โwhat terrorists sayโ. It didnโt change my kid mind cause I never grasped the American War on Terror propaganda / Islamophobia. Iโd just be like โbut itโs Ala??โ
