@amostversky1 on the Hot Hand Fallacy.
Also all of us on twitter about anything always.

Hi, @cityofhamilton and @ward1wilson. Again, all the snow from the parking lot behind @WestdaleOptical (@Walkerschocolat etc) has been pushed out into the road, completely blocking the bike lane and spilling out beyond.
Why is this acceptable?
Mount Westdale is no more.
Thanks to @cityofhamilton, @ward1wilson, and/or to the nice lady at @WestdaleOptical for getting the hill razed and seeing that it didn't reappear.
I know nothing of the legalities of this situation but I have given tis 26 seconds thought and I am outraged.
A crossing guard cannot criticize the City in public?
@cityofhamilton @ward1wilson - I'm open to learning why this is not outrageous, but I'm not seeing it yet.
Replying to @joannaterry64
After two reprimands for my being critical of the city on Twitter, and being called into the office for a third, I decided that my social & urban advocacy were mutually exclusive with my continued employment as a crossing guard for the city of Hamilton.
As an advocate for better, safer streets & cities I know we are not supposed to blame the most vulnerable road users etc etc - but, FFS, if at least 50% of the undergraduates on campus could *look* before stepping off the sidewalk my commute would be much less interesting.
Hello, @WestdaleOptical. It's great that your parking lot is free of snow, but have you noticed where your snow went? Again?
@BlockedinHamOnt
Thanks, @cityofhamilton / @ward1wilson for having the toboggan hill removed from the bike lane on Sterling.
Hey, @SoBiHamilton - how are the bikes holding up in this cold?
I see people using them, but my own bike with the same Shimo Nexus hub is 1) unshiftable and 2) locked up with frozen slush under the fenders.
How do you keep the bikes going so well?
How cold is it today? “Return of Darth Ridiculous” cold. #VikingBiking or #SithBiking or maybe #HothBiking
@cityofhamilton @ward1wilson: the above is at Sterling just off of King West. Any chance we could have the giant snow berm moved *out* of the bike lane?
Leaving the house in snowy #HamOnt to shovel and ... my neighbour beat me to it.
