If you know how to build a machine, you can build a business.
You just need to know what all of the (de)part(ment)s are, what they do, and how they interact to transform fuel into movement, or resources into cash.

You're talking my language. I want to eliminate the income, sales, and birt and raise the millage on land value. I think the target income should be 120% of the current city budget because I'm pro civilization.
I think if you water feed plants well they grow seeds.

I like this tax ... but i'd rather a land value tax.
This is so beyond fantastic. i'm excited on what good education will look like in 15 years.
NVIDIA put 2,595 free 3D models on Hugging Face. I optimized them for the browser
Out of Blender they add up to 225 GB. After the pipeline the whole set is 3.8 GB
The V8 engine went from an 888 MB file that takes 9 seconds to show up to 9.3 MB and 0.6 seconds, and it looks the same
The optimized set is free on Hugging Face

Well, all of it, then it would figure out how much to allot to the school district.
yup. i'm against raising property taxes and for raising land value taxes. You can build a skyscraper in a desloate area and make major cash instead of putting it downtown. I'm all for that.
Municipalities should not tax the value of what was built and can be destroyed.

Many counties in PA have a split rate tax on property. To do more LVT you increase the millage on the land value.
I propose that you increase the LVT so that it cuts you cut every other tax to less than 1%.
You also put all taxes into a general fund and not just for schools.

Raising property taxes scares away landlords and lets people afford to buy houses. Raising (the millage on) land value taxes does the same and encourages increasing density and drives down the costs of building(s) further.

this is why we need a land value tax instead of a property tax, this would pressure the people that own the old factories to do something productive instead of waiting for a windfall.
Replying to @Risk_Parody @DPearsonPHL
yes, and the income tax which also taxes and suppresses productivity.
We should only be using a land value tax which punishes unproductive land uses like parking lots (in center city), abandoned houses, land speculation, and landlording.
Replying to @mattbaran
which is why we should enact land value taxes because they prevent lame business models that only work because they tax the product of thinking and labor not the context thereof.
