France's credit rating was just downgraded from AA- to A+ by Scope
This news comes as France's 30 year bond yield has accelerated to a level last seen in 2002
Many economists have raised the alarm that a 6% 30 year yield is the tipping point when nations will be unable to service their debt.
What's alarming however, is what's happening to the 30 year yields.
European countries like 🇫🇷 France and 🇩🇪 Germany are seeing a massive spike in their cost to borrow.
Not good if your nation doesn't print Dollars because global debt is denominated in Dollars.
We typically only see dramatic spikes in the long end of the curve like this when nations are entering a sovereign debt crisis.
Except this time it isn't a regional issue, it's the entire world going broke at the same time.

All the signs were there that the U.S. intended to starve the world of fuel.
Governments don't want you to learn history, because they literally repeat it.
What happened in the 1970s is happening again, but this time instead of a 4% reduction in oil it's 20%. The U.S. is intentionally blowing up refineries in Russia & Australia, pipelines to Europe, capturing Venezuela so additional oil supply can't come online.
The goal is to starve China and the world of oil, collapsing industrial capacity outside of the U.S. and sucking all of the Dollars in circulation back into the U.S.
The U.S. doesn't care how bad the economy gets, as long as it's worse everywhere else.

Back in 2022, people thought I was crazy suggesting the U.S. planned to destroy Europe's economy with energy & Dollar shortages.
4 years later, not so crazy now 😜

🇧🇾 Belarus continues military drills near NATO border
Belarus has deployed tanks, artillery, and drone units for exercises in the Brest and Grodno regions bordering Poland and Lithuania, close to the Suwalki Gap—the roughly 40-mile corridor connecting the Baltic states to the rest of NATO.
For several days, Belarusian forces are practicing counter-sabotage operations, dispersed command posts, artillery fire and drone warfare. Minsk says the exercises are defensive and rejects suggestions that they are preparations for an attack.
The drills come amid heightened tension along NATO’s eastern flank. Poland has recently scrambled aircraft during Russian strikes near its border, while an Italian NATO fighter shot down a suspected Russian explosive-laden drone that entered Lithuanian airspace from Belarus on September 14.
NATO’s only land bridge to the Baltics, the Suwałki Gap, is seeing Belarusian military drills near Poland and Lithuania.
Belarus says the drills are about guarding checkpoints and infrastructure and stopping drones. Yet tank and mechanized battalions—forces built for conventional ground combat—are taking part.
Minsk denies offensive intent but has not disclosed troop numbers.

Moscow's mayor reports another drone attack on the capital, with five aircraft shot down on approach. No casualties or damage have been reported so far, and Kiev has not commented.
Five Drones Downed On Approach To Moscow
Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said Defense Ministry air defenses shot down five drones flying toward the capital. Emergency services are working where the debris fell. He gave no details on casualties, damage or the location of the wreckage. The claim has not been independently verified, and Ukraine rarely comments on individual strikes inside Russia.

Part Of A Steady Series
The report follows several similar ones this week. On September 17 the mayor announced two drones downed, then further waves through the evening, with Russian outlets citing 23 for the day. Ten were reported on September 4. The largest wave came in mid-August, when Sobyanin spoke of around 600 drones launched toward the Moscow region in one night. By mid-June, his tally for the year had already passed his full-year figure for 2025.

Two Readings Of The Campaign
Russian officials describe the flights as attacks on a civilian capital that air defenses largely repel far from the city. Zelensky has called Ukrainian long-range strikes a tool to compel Russia to end the war, and Ukrainian outlets say the aim is to disrupt airports, strain air defenses and hit energy and logistics sites. Past waves have led to temporary closures at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky.
