Oh no. This is terrible. No Payne. No Kinlaw.
The Eagles are going to run and run and run with Saquon
#Commanders standout DT Daron Payne suffered a significant foot injury today in practice that will knock him out for the foreseeable future and likely land him IR, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.
Payne will undergo more evaluations tomorrow. But another tough blow for Washington.

Caught up with Commanders CB Trey Amos after today's practice.
Talked:
> confidence in getting a win this Sunday
> what is the defense taking from the second half against the niners into the rest of the season

The Commanders had a terrific second half in their last game at SF.
But, they forgot to show up in the first half of that game.
Playing a complete game is critical on Sunday night vs. Philly.
Austin Ekeler told me, "staying consistent is what it comes down to."

If a fully rested Washington Commanders team can't beat this version of the Philadelphia Eagles on short rest at home on Sunday night football...you got major problems.
