European and British audacity knows no bounds. For years, President Trump warned them that they were making their countries dependent on Russian energy. They quite literally laughed at him while he warned them. Today, when Trump says he wants to import Russian diesel to ease a horrible crisis, Europeans and the British are lecturing him about morality and Russia. These are the same people who funded Putin and his oligarchs for years, while helping to undermine Europe's energy security and dismantle its nuclear energy capacity. For the love of God, London was Russia's favourite money-laundering hub. Russian oligarchs flocked here to launder their blood money, and much of it happened under the Conservatives' watch! This shameless audacity is unbelievable.

Israel made a huge mistake starting this war with Iran and Trump was foolish for getting conned into going along with it. But that doesn’t mean we need to allow ourselves fall into a global oil depression by not making a Russian deal during this emergency. The EU is the largest importer of Russian natural gas, both via pipeline and LNG. More is imported to the EU than goes to China. The EU does NOT sanction Russian gas. NOBODY mentions that part as the EU sets itself up for war with Russia and begs the US for assets

I do agree regarding the Europeans’ irresponsible policies at the time. However, Trump’s criticism was not driven by geopolitical insight, but by greed. He wanted to ensure Europe bought American LNG. Nowadays, his behaviour towards Russia is characterised by subservience.
