🇧🇷🇵🇸 BRAZIL'S PRO-PALESTINE PRESIDENT WINS FOURTH TERM Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has won Brazil's presidential election, defeating his pro-Israel rival Flávio Bolsonaro and securing a historic fourth term in office. Lula has been one of the world's most outspoken critics of Israel's war on Gaza, repeatedly accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians. He has championed Palestinian statehood and condemned Israel's military offensive, while Bolsonaro pledged closer ties with Israel and proposed moving Brazil's embassy to Jerusalem. The result means Latin America's most populous country will continue to be led by a president who has strongly defended the Palestinian cause.

🇬🇧 UK URGED TO ARREST ISRAELI SOLDIER OVER GAZA WAR CRIMES The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a criminal complaint with British authorities against an Israeli soldier believed to be visiting London, accusing him of war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of genocide in Gaza. 🇮🇱 Lidor Dafna, a bulldozer operator in the Israeli army's 603rd Combat Engineering Battalion, is accused of involvement in the destruction of the Great Ocean Mills, a major flour-producing facility in southern Gaza, in May 2025. The facility was destroyed at a time when Israel's blockade had left hundreds of thousands of Palestinians facing starvation. The foundation says Dafna posted footage of the demolition on social media. The Hind Rajab Foundation is a Belgium-based human rights organisation named after a five-year-old Palestinian girl killed by Israeli forces in Gaza in January 2024. It investigates alleged Israeli war crimes and pursues legal action against Israeli soldiers and officials around the world. The foundation is demanding that British authorities urgently investigate, arrest and question Dafna, warning that the UK must not become a safe haven for those suspected of committing atrocities in Gaza. Dafna has not publicly responded to the allegations.
