One of the reasons I voted Labour was their promise about swift bricks.

These are the people who blocked the swift brick amendment last night. 102 Labour Peers thanks to the rather extreme 3 line whip which just goes to show how much #Labour do NOT want to help nature let alone swifts. Normally a 3 line whip is used for fairly extreme amendments.

Almost 90% of flights from Luton are taken for leisure - in other words British tourists taking their money out of the country to spend abroad. Expanding Luton is not good for UK growth & certainly not good for nature & the environment. Why doesnβt Labour understand that?
This government has just approved the expansion of Luton airport. But, as new NEF analysis shows, airport expansion isn't a magic bullet for economic growth.
In fact it's bad news for our domestic tourism industry as more holidaymakers will leave from Luton than arrive.

ALT Text: LUTON AIRPORT EXPANSION WILL HIT BRITISH DOMESTIC TOURISM INDUSTY. NEF analysis shows Luton expansion will mean millions more holidaymakers leaving the country than arriving. Good Morning!
Unbelievable night of tornadoes across the U.S - so many, I wouldn't know where to begin. The damage looks severe, and unfortunately, there are likely casualties.
Kim Polgreen πΊπ¦πππ retweeted
This new study found a flaw in most econometric analyses of future damages from climate change. They used a different modelling approach that incorporates global economic interconnectedness, and found when you do this, projected damages are much greater than originally estimated.

Hard to describe the feeling of satisfaction you get from being a river guardian seeing a sand martin nesting hole you campaigned to be installed being used for the first time.
This morning I witnessed a sand Martin couple moving into their new build, affordable nest in the heart of Barking, & I couldnβt be more proud!
Thanks to @ToureenGroup & @ArteliaUK for taking the time to effort to install these holes during the works on the wall- it really has made a difference for local wildlife.
