"The Biggest Takeaways From Stockton Kings Media Day" @ETrainSports | @TheLeadSM theleadsm.com/the-biggest-ta…

Happy Halloween everyone. Get out there and have fun and spread your affirmations about the Sacramento Kings not being our identities 😭

Not so hot take: The 2026-27 Sacramento Kings will have the worst defense in NBA history.

Another Kings 3rd quarter collapse. Lack of adjustments, energy, and effort. Same thing, every game, every 3rd quarter.

Darius Acuff Jr. You are the future.

De'Andre Hunter has really turned it around these past couple of games. A highlight on this team now.

Lack of energy on the court right now is killing the Kings. Not very engaged right now.

Starter + injuries Ty Jerome is OUT.

What do you want to see in this Kings game for it to be a step forward?

Happy Halloween Kings fans! They take on the undefeated Grizzlies… Scary.

How would the Kings be doing if Ben Simmons was healthy this year?

Doug Christie is not believed to be on the hot seat, per @sam_amick. The Kings brass wants to see him coach a fully healthy team before making any decisions.

Darius Acuff Jr. with his statement game so far this season: 34 Points 6 Rebounds 14 Assists 3 Stocks An exciting performance for the 7th overall pick.

Kings drop to 0-5, and there are a lot of both positives, but questions to takeaway. The depth has been destroyed by injuries (Simmons, Keegan, Raynaud, Cardwell), but guys have to step up (primarily one getting paid 20 Ms)

Zach LaVine primary ball-handler over the franchise point guard who has dominated the game.

Kings trying their best to comeback in this game after a devastating 3rd quarter. Seems like a trend.

Emanuel Sharp needs to learn how to defend without fouling at the NBA level.

The Kings are down 19 against the 0-3 Pelicans. Just a complete collapse.

Darius Acuff Jr. is on fire offensively and De’Andre Hunter is finding his rhythm after a rough preseason and start. What do you want to see in the 2nd half?

Darius Acuff had everything going on in the 1st quarter: 12 points 2 rebounds 1 assist 4/5 FG, 3/3 FT
