Used a skill saw to rough cut most of the shape out. There are some cracks here and there, causing part of the cross guard to fall off.
Nothing like glue and wood filling can't fix.
Also the handle is titled, so i'll have to make a precise cut to realign with what's left.
Got the freestyle done (with some help from a level for the blade portion) and it's looking good!
I am worried, now that I'm looking at it, the handle might break off from the weight of the blade. Despite the wood being very light. Miiiit slim the blade a bit.
Got a summer project i want to do since Softball season is over.
For the upcoming Fan Expo in September, i'll be turning this 1 inch thick cedar plank into All-Black!
I'll be updating as I go along.
I'll be researching to decide on what design I want.
