On November 3, 1992, a little-known band called Rage Against The Machine released their debut self-titled album, soon to become a household name across rock, rap and punk.
Politically charged and sonically groundbreaking, Rage Against The Machine sent the band to international stardom with tracks like ‘Killing in the Name’ and ‘Know Your Enemy’.
Rage would go on to perform nude at Lollapalooza, get banned from SNL for flying the American flag upside down, burn flags at Woodstock ’99 and shut down the New York Stock Exchange.
And that was just the ’90s!
On this day, 34 years ago, the world was introduced to one of the most influential anti-authoritarian bands to ever do it.
