#WATCH | Delhi: Joint CP Nupur Prasad says, "We have received an application from Saurav Das, Co-Convener of Cockroach Janta Party. The application is regarding an intimation for a protest on 10th October at Jantar Mantar. The protest was regarding the accountability of the CEC. This intimation was considered, and it was found that the intimation was given in a very short span of time, whereas as per the prescribed guideline, the intimation has to be received 10 days prior to the protest that is planned. Further, it is also important to mention that on an earlier occasion, when the Cockroach Janta Party was given permission to hold a protest there, they did not follow the lawful directions and did not follow their own undertakings given at that point in time. Therefore, because of not following the legal directions, their own undertaking, and the prevalent law and order situation, and to maintain public safety, law and order, and traffic regulation, this time the permission is rejected; it is not approved. It is important to mention that in the New Delhi area, Section 163 of the BNSS (Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita) is in operation, under which, to maintain public order and safety, a reasonable preventive restriction is in place. It is further important to mention that if anybody violates the provisions of Section 163 of the BNSS, then proper legal action will be taken against them."

A cold trail met a warm nose—and the blind case finally found its lead. 🐾
With no CCTV footage, no eyewitness and no actionable clue, the investigation into the sexual assault of a six-year-old girl child had reached a dead end.
Then Gold Medallist K-9 Mary, a seven-year-old Labrador from @sambhalpolice, put her nose on the case.
Taking scent from a handkerchief recovered at the crime scene, Mary went paws on patrol—tracking the trail across two lanes and stopping at a house less than 400 metres away.
Her unmistakable signal gave investigators the paw-sitive breakthrough they needed, leading them to arrest the suspect.
No camera. No witness.
Just a nose trained for justice.

VIDEO | Uttar Pradesh: When the investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a six-year-old girl appeared to have hit a dead end, a seven-year-old labrador named Mary helped police identify the accused and get him arrested, officials said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on June 19 in Babrala area, where the girl was found by her mother in a distressed condition. The child was unable to explain what had happened. With conventional methods not yielding results, police called the district's dog squad. Mary, a labrador deployed with the K-9 unit, was brought to the spot.
The officer said Mary was given the scent trail, and she followed it through the nearby lanes before stopping at a house located a few hundred metres away from the scene. Based on the identification made with the help of the dog squad, police took further action against the accused.

उत्तर प्रदेश में गंगा एक्सप्रेस–वे के जरिए AC से भरे कंटेनर में एसेटिक एनहाइड्राइड प्रीकर्सर (मादक पदार्थ) की तस्करी हो रही थी। संभल पुलिस ने 629 KG लिक्विड बरामद किया है। इसकी कीमत करीब 1.57 करोड़ रुपए बताई गई है। इस लिक्विड से उच्च क्वालिटी का स्मैक/हेरोइन तैयार होता है। इस मादक पदार्थ को छिपाने के लिए कंटेनर में 200 आउटडोर AC/कंप्रेशर रखे हुए थे। मदनपाल, राजपाल, नाजिम और शोएब गिरफ्तार हैं।

From “child trafficking” to “child tracking”—Bareilly Police cracked the trail
A 1.5-year-old child kidnapped from Aonla, Bareilly, was safely recovered within 48 hours.
After scanning hundreds of CCTV feeds and using human and technical intelligence, five teams of Bareilly Police, under the leadership of SSP Bareilly Shri Anurag Arya and the supervision of SP South Anshika Verma, tracked two accused, Yogesh and Pawan, who were allegedly taking the child to Delhi to sell for ₹5 lakh.
Both accused were arrested following retaliatory firing by police.
A priceless life saved.
A trafficking trail stopped.
Citizens are urged to immediately report any suspicious movement, missing child, or child trafficking-related information to the nearest police station or dial 112.
