Under Trump and full Republican control, the Pentagon just told all U.S. military bases to prepare to be fully fortified for 90 days under the FORTRESS plan, but they didn’t tell the American people anything!
And they did this one week before the midterms.
Pretty much freaking everyone out because fortifying the military bases to operate independently with no connection to the outside world with the entire grid shut down seems like there will be no help for the American people.
Like nothing.
So basically that’s like saying, “You’re on your own.”
And these people actually want you to vote for them.
And why is everyone freaking out? Oh only because Trump has been basically saying he’s restarting the war with Iran that no one wants after midterms and now the Pentagon is fortifying U.S. bases.
You want people to vote for you?
Try instilling trust with the American people that you will ensure their safety, security, and prosperity.
Not sending the message that they are on their own to starve, freeze, or eat each other while you wage world war 3.

My thought on the government telling military bases to have 90 days of supplies….
If our grid goes down, it will be because our own government attacked us. No one hates Americans more than the US government.

🚨 Google lost power in London this morning and Revolut, a bank with 80 million customers, went down with it.
I've spent the morning reading what Revolut users went through. It's wild.
People stranded at petrol stations, unable to pay for fuel or a taxi to the airport.
One traveller couldn't get out of a train station in Japan.
A 71-year-old woman stood at a supermarket till for an hour. Her kid had to drive 30km to bring her cash.
Card payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals, currency exchange, share trading. All down.
Revolut's statement said "all our customers' money and data are safe."
Safe. You just can't touch it.
Google's explanation so far is a "power event" in one zone of its London cloud region. Its advice to affected customers was to move their workloads to another zone or region "if feasible."
Must be nice. Revolut customers couldn't even move £10.
In July the UK government put Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft and Oracle under direct Bank of England oversight, because one outage at any of them could shake the entire financial system.
12 days ago the Bank of England ran a drill with the UK's 38 biggest banks and market operators. The scenario they practised was a global cloud outage.
And exactly one year ago today, AWS went down and took Lloyds and Halifax with it.
Same date. Different cloud. Lloyds was having problems again this morning.
Revolut spent five years earning a UK banking licence.
Bitcoin has been running for almost 18 years. It doesn't have a London region.

I just pulled $140 worth of groceries off the shelf, carried them across the store, scanned every item myself at a self-checkout kiosk, bagged every single item, and tapped my own card.
Then the machine screen flipped around and asked:
"Would you like to round up your total to donate to corporate charity?"
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
You eliminated 12 cashier jobs to cut corporate payroll, forced me to provide free manual labor for 15 minutes just to buy food, and now you want ME to fund your tax write-off?
If I'm doing the work of an employee, give me a 10% self-checkout discount at checkout.
Stop asking for tips and donations at kiosks where I did 100% of the work.

I don't want flying cars.
I want rivers and ocean I can swim in with friends.
I want food that isn't full of toxic chemicals and clean soil to grow it in.
I want raw nature and wilderness and places on the earth I can get lost without seeing another human.
I want air that isn't "geoengineered" and polluted.
Science is cool. Technological advancement is cool, but I don't think this makes us happier as humans.
Real human connection and clean, natural food lead to happiness. This I know. Flying cars? I'm not sure.

Summers felt endless, experiences actually became memories, music attached itself to entire chapters of your life, and even ordinary days somehow had a feeling you could remember years later. Now everything feels like a blur. You wake up Monday and somehow it’s Friday. January turns into August before you’ve even processed what happened. People are everywhere, yet genuine connection feels harder to find. We have unlimited ways to communicate but somehow feel more distant than ever. Everybody is scrolling, rushing, consuming, surviving—waiting for life to start while LIFE is literally passing us by. Maybe it’s technology. Maybe it’s stress. Maybe 2020 affected the human mind more deeply than we realize. Maybe it’s something we haven’t even figured out yet.
