The box score doesn't show the shift, but the brand of football on the field does. Coach Fitz has this team playing with that Spartan identity again. Go Green Go White

My only criticism of Alessio is that he holds the ball too long and takes way too many sacks. Throw it away Les!

So, wins can be vacated for student athletes having their dinners paid for, but in the matter of right and wrong for the outcome of a contest, we just shrug it off?!!
The FBS Oversight Committee says in a statement that "instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest’s second-to-last play" in the Western Michigan-Michigan game, and "had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different." FBS oversight committee says it cannot overturn the result.

FBS oversight committee: Western Michigan beat Michigan. The refs were wrong. The result should be different. We saw it. You saw it. Everybody saw it. But we’re not changing it because that would hurt Michigan and that’s not allowed.

NEW: The Big Ten has released a statement on the controversial Michigan walk-off Hail Mary against Western Michigan: “Following video review, it was determined Western Michigan’s #18 started his jump from an established out-of-bounds position (left foot) and made contact with the ball with one second remaining on the clock. As shown in the provided video of what was viewed during the replay process, a side-by-side view of the play and the game clock, using a direct shot of the game clock in the stadium, was used to determine the final ruling. Eighty-five minutes prior to the game, all broadcast cameras used for the replay system, including the camera on the game clock, are synced using a strobe system to ensure all cameras are aligned. Per NCAA Football rule 4-2-3-a, “A ball not in player control, other than a kick that scores a field goal, is out of bounds when it touches the ground, a player, a game official or anything else that is out-of-bound, or that is on or outside a boundary line.” and thus the clock is stopped.” (via @bigten) on3.com/news/big-ten-address…

We really had Kenneth Walker, Jayden Reed, Keon Coleman, Jalen Nailor, and Connor Heyward on that 2021 squad, just imagine if we didn’t have the worst secondary in College Football that year.

Michigan State finishes the game with 258 rushing yards. That’s MSU’s highest mark in 4 years. The Spartans won the second half 21-0, as they take down EMU 35-7. Notre Dame up next.

@MSU_Basketball culture is bigger than the problems in college athletics. Culture drives the program.
This is why Michigan State is ALWAYS RELEVANT…👀 Their ALUMNI are doing the recruiting 🤯 Draymond Green. Max Christie. Kalin Lucas. Instead of recruits just hearing Tom Izzo tell them what Michigan State can do for their career… They’re hearing it from the guys who already lived it. Former players come back to campus, spend time around the program and show recruits that being a Spartan doesn’t end when you leave East Lansing. That’s a pretty powerful pitch: Don’t take our word for it. Ask the guys who did it. 🟢⚪️
