This shall lead to great advancements
Foundation models are trained in stages: pretraining, midtraining, and post-training. But is this separation fundamental? We introduce unified training: a single algorithm for the full pipeline. This gives ⚙️ Simpler infrastructure 🔬 A framework for better science (1/n)

designing runtime mutable software in rust or any GC free languages is no minor feat...

I guess time to take back my word

THEY PUT AI IN OUT OF ORDER EXECUTION 😭
What if code could think while it runs? Meet Maxwell: the world’s first Code Execution Model. A new species of AI that lives inside the machine. We believe it’s the key to unlocking 100% of compute. Requests for early access are open, link below.

so… an upgraded branch prediction and speculative execution?

nvcc is so god damn slow, what the hell is that compiler man 😭

rust seriously needs to improve compile times on massive projects man. atp ai writes code faster than rust compiles. claude spends more time sitting than coding.

Bitter lesson: if your local model doesn’t do 100TPS+, you likely won’t use it.

too much AI progress man, it's hard to catch up. and this is just around 100k people using AI to some extent and pushing content imo

AI has made building things absurdly easy. So everyone is building more... parts. Nobody is building something truly remarkable (for the most part), it's all nice little toys which die in a week. I see similarity with the dotcom bubble.

we are soo bad at understanding exponentials, aren’t we.

This week finally convinced me, the era of the software engineer is over.

I’m impressed by @PrismML I gotta research more on extreme quantisation. Solved my Digital Signal Processing assignment flawlessly btw 😭
late to the game, trying out Ternary Bonsai 2 27B...
