With the Sharks becoming good right before our eyes, and the rebuild ending soon, I think it’s time for a Daily Random Shark.
This way we won’t forget where we came from, or who we had to endure.
Misa was 8th in ice time even though Bystedt played 4 minutes.
Mack, Smith, Ivar, Graf, Sherwood, Marchment, Toffoli all ahead of him.
This despite misa playing well and scoring a goal. Make it make sense
Celebrini played a career-high 28:05 for the #SJSharks tonight. The team was on the second half of a back-to-back, too. Next closest to him in TOI was Will Smith at 23:44.
Can a reporter ask Warso to explain himself that they had 2, TWO!, shots in the 3rd period. And both of them came with 2 minutes left in the game.
Thats truly unacceptable in a game you’re losing and yes the players shoot. But Warso puts the lines out and he did a poor job of it
Sherwood-Trouba-Marchment on the ice for a 6 on 5 when you need a goal. It just makes no sense, and Warsofsky will never answer why he can’t see basics
Marchment-Macklin-Sherwood is just a complete waste of time if you’re insistent on double and triple shifting Mack.
That’s just logging a 45-60 second shift for the sake of it
The Sharks broadcast must always have the quota of one (1) talking head with a mohawk straight out of the aughts lol
Haha Misa already off the top line one about of Marchment (lol)
He’s now centring Graf and Macklin?
There’s like blender, and then there is whatever drugs Warso is on tonight
Stenberg scored while playing with talented players. Imagine that!
It’s like he shouldn’t be hampered with third liners, that’s not his skill set
I think it’s time to just call it like it is, Macklin Celebrini is obviously hurt.
With the horrible start, and broken system, give him 2 or 3 weeks off to have a rest and get better. I know Sharks mgmt big brained the offseason and think it’s a playoff team, but it’s not
The system Warso implemented, a heavy, 1 in forecheck, grind the puck out to waiting players does not work for the sharks.
They have fast, smart, skilled guys. They need an east-west skill cycle game. They need to carry it as much as possible not chip and chase
It’s November 7th, 2026 and we are talking about last year.
Might as well see what Owen Nolan is up to, he had a cracking 1999-2000
Just bad PKing here. Neither nurses nor the F attack the D when he gets the puck.
It should be the F, with Nurse coming back to disrupt the passing lane and help KR who has 2 net front guys.
Another season of a very passive, weak PK
I’m old enough to remember when Doug Wilson signed Adam Burish, which turned out to be a mistake. Todd McClellan wouldn’t stop playing him, so Doug Wilson, said ok and waived him.
It’s time Grier did that.
At no point last year was Dellandrea at 3C “playing really good hockey”. In fact, the sharks immediately improved after he got injured and came out of the lineup
#SJSharks are desperate to improve offensively & defensively at 5-on-5.
Here's what they're trying today: Misa is going to the Celebrini line as a winger, while Graf/Dellandrea return to center.
Today's lines here (plus Wennberg now day-to-day): sanjosehockeynow.com/san-jos…
In another edition of “‘I forgot that guy existed and wow he’s on what team” it’s Conor Garland!
Who knew he was in Columbus these days, good for him
