Just about two months to the election, and in Osun State today, despite the rainbow move, it’s still hard to see APC candidates campaigning or engaging in physical campaigns.
There is no room for negotiating any elective positions.
Only thing ‘they’ want here is just magic. Just like they tried in the last election.

On Friday, 23 October 2026, I had the honour of representing His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, at the First National Volunteer Conference of Nigeria, organised by the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) in collaboration with the Ondo State Government in Akure.
Held under the theme “Every Contribution Matters,” the conference was a timely reminder that nation-building is not the responsibility of government alone. It is a collective endeavour powered by people who give their time, skills, knowledge and resources to make life better for others.
As a former volunteer and someone who understands the value of volunteerism, I know that meaningful change does not always begin with grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with one person choosing to show up, one community choosing to act, or one individual deciding that someone else’s wellbeing matters.
From community development and environmental sustainability to youth empowerment, social inclusion and climate action, volunteerism remains a powerful instrument for building resilient communities and advancing sustainable development.
My message was simple: we must move beyond celebrating volunteers to building systems that recognise, support and sustain their contributions. Volunteerism should be deliberately integrated into our development agenda, with opportunities for young people and community actors to contribute meaningfully to national progress.
I was particularly encouraged by the spirit of engagement and the recognition that every contribution, regardless of its size, has the potential to create lasting impact. And, in a rather amusing Akure moment, on my way out of the conference, I encountered some enthusiastic Imole supporters who had watched me deliver HE’s speech. They were quick to tell me I had swag like the Governor! 😂 We exchanged pleasantries, danced a little, and I left with a smile. A reminder that public service, at its heart, is about people and the connections we build with them. ❤️
My appreciation goes to the United Nations Volunteers and the Ondo State Government for convening this important gathering. Every contribution matters. Every volunteer counts. And every act of service brings us closer to the Nigeria we aspire to build.

Good morning everyone, last night was long. We couldn’t sleep.
Wife of the president, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu donated about 50 buses to OAU, donated vehicles to APC women leaders across the country, and there was also news around July that she donated buses to the APC Youth Wing, all in her name.
The same goes for David Umahi, who donated buses to student associations.
Today, it is Dayo Israel’s turn, with the donation reportedly made through the First Lady, even though she has probably donated to the APC Youth Wing before.
I can’t help but wonder how many donations have been going on behind the scenes while the masses continue to lament their poor living conditions. This makes me think the issue is not even about Dayo Israel alone, but about a government that has repeatedly told Nigerians to endure while all these things are happening.
Even if donations must be made, do they always have to involve such expensive vehicles? Must they happen more than once, to a particular group, especially when Nigerians are being asked to endure economic hardship?
Omo, like I said, making it into the inner circle of this government must be like performing a ritual. 😊🙇🏽
The future of this country is in God’s hands, because everyone seems to want to be part of that circle.

Somebody needs to tell Tinubu that the reaction from Kaduna yesterday reflects how many Nigerians feel.
We don’t care about your bogus statistics. We care about human capital development, more money in our pockets, and the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.
Has our standard of living improved in the last four years? Can we afford petrol? Is food cheaper? Do we have more purchasing power?
These are the questions Tinubu needs to ask himself. His yes men need to stop feeding him statistics and tell him the truth, Nigerians struggling to survive.

I am not surprised by the recent alleged looting of Osun State LG Secretariats by the court sacked APC Yes or no Chairmen across the state. They learned well from their leaders.
They looted the State Government House after their defeat in 2022. Their days in the LG are numbered.
