3 years ago today, Hamas terrorists attempted a genocide against the Jewish people when they attacked a music festival and nearby communities in Israel, killing approximately 1,200 innocent people, including 46 Americans, and taking 254 people hostage. October 7th was the single deadliest day for Jewish people since the Holocaust. Today, we remember those who were killed, those who were taken hostage, and everyone whose lives were forever changed by the horrific acts of terrorism.

The UAE Attorney General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi has now stated that the co-pilot had "attempted to carry out a terrorist act." Western mainstream media such as the BBC and NYT have been describing what happened as "an altercation” even though it was clear from the start that an Arab tried to hijack and kill all passengers on board when Israeli passengers saved the Indian copilot’s life, landed the plane safely and prevented a catastrophic terrorist plot. BREAKING: a flydubai co-pilot stabbed the pilot and tried to hijack the Dubai–Tel Aviv flight carrying 150 Israeli passengers en route to Israel. Passengers and a crew member jumped in and stopped a catastrophic event. We are not Jews with trembling knees. We will defend ourselves from evil in all forms.

How did global media decide Israel was the biggest killer of journalists? One man had a lot to do with it. Because before a statistic can become a headline, someone has to supply the list of names. The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) is one of the most frequently cited sources for the Committee to Protect Journalists’ (CPJ) database of slain media workers. PJS’s president, Nasser Abu Bakr has publicly praised Palestinian gunmen who murdered Israelis as “heroes” and “lions.” And when someone in Gaza is killed, he has the power to name them a journalist. That matters when information supplied by his organization makes its way into databases that are then cited by some of the world’s biggest newsrooms.
