🚨 BRADFORD MAN JAILED FOR THREE YEARS AFTER HAVING SEX WITH CHICKENS
A Bradford man has been jailed for three years after investigators discovered videos of him sexually abusing animals, alongside child sexual abuse images.
Rehan Baig, 37, was investigated by the National Crime Agency following intelligence that he possessed indecent images of children. Officers searching his home uncovered illegal images and homemade recordings showing abuse involving chickens and a dog.
The court heard that the chickens had been kept as family pets and died as a result of the abuse.
Recordings were stored in a computer folder labelled “Family Vids”. Investigators also discovered images showing dead chickens in the cellar of the property and photographs of Baig disposing of one of the animals.
Judge Richard Mansell QC condemned the offending as “depraved, perverted and despicable”. He said the recordings had been made for Baig’s sexual gratification.
Baig’s wife, Haleema Baig, 38, received a six-month suspended prison sentence. The court heard evidence that she had been subjected to coercive and controlling behaviour.
Investigators also found a hidden camera in the couple’s bedroom, which she was reportedly unaware of.
In addition to his three-year prison sentence, Rehan Baig was banned from keeping animals and made subject to sex offender registration requirements for life.
