We’ve had enough! @RedbridgeLive @Jas_Athwal @KamRai7 Why should we walk past this every morning in Sunnyside & Woodlands rds? Literally 1000s of reports over last 10 years. No action from council: No CCTV, No enforcement, No campaign. @BBCLondonNews @cleanupbritain
6/4/24 Woodlands rd in a perpetual state of litter. @RedbridgeLive claim it is litter picked 3 times a week which is patently untrue. When I ask for evidence, it’s never provided. It seems managers don’t have a clue what’s happening on the ground & litter picking isn’t been done
13/3/24 More dumping in the same spots on Woodlands Road and Sunnyside road. @RedbridgeLive @Jas_Athwal have no interest in finding the culprits. They’ll just clean it up @BBCLondonNews @itvlondon @MailOnline
Why is there still no CCTV on Sunnyside Road and Woodlands Road after 1000s of reports over many years? This happens every weekend on Sunnyside and Woodlands. I’m sorry but us residents are never going to accept it. We demand cctv NOW @RedbridgeLive @Jas_Athwal @KamRai7
Why is it that in a @RedbridgeLive ward where this happens every other day there are NO cctv cameras to catch flytippers and we’re NEVER on Wall of Shame? @Jas_Athwal @KamRai7 @khayerc And this is despite 1000s of reports and mountains of evidence…
Yet @RedbridgeLive spend money on this every day cleaning up NOTHING from the high roads. Bad use of resources
@Jas_Athwal @KamRai7 The recent shootings in Henley road were horrific. Below is response from @RedbridgeLive when I queried the litter behind the policeman. Unbelievably I’m told the litter built up while rd was closed. No! It built up on Monday 24 October BEFORE the shooting.
@Jas_Athwal @KamRai7 you oversee an incompetent cleansing dept, who, instead of honestly doing their job, constantly cover each other’s backs
Hi @RedbridgeLive could you please make it policy that when you cut back vegetation in Loxford Park that you clear the exposed litter
Also could the shops part of Woodlands road be swept PROPERLY and DAILY

Our enforcement teams have been visiting some of the businesses in Ilford to ensure their commercial waste is being disposed of properly, and not ending up on our roads. 146 legal notices were issued to ensure businesses take responsibility for their waste. Top work team! 👍🏽
