LGC Stakepool RETIRING
I apologize to my community for failing to uphold my promise to produce the highest yielding Stakepool in the ecosystem. Effective immediately, the LGC Stakepool is winding down and retiring as it is no longer sustainable to maintain operations.
If you are currently delegated to the LGC Stakepool, please redelegate immediately to an SPO with a longer track record of reliability. I recommend the MALU Stakepool run by @Cryptofly777 with nearly 5 years of active uptime. Support creators!

Good Day to the Cardano Community!
This is a PSA that ANVIL pool is running bone dry!
Unfortunately, at 448,773 ADA we are rarely producing blocks these days. We have over 1000 delegators but the ADA in our pool is just simply not enough to consistently produce blocks.
Any and all support would be greatly appreciated. This pool directly supports Anvil and our operations. It also helps to secure Cardano.
We reallllly do not want to close down our stake pool, but seeing all the other over saturated, retired, or MPO still have massive delegations is making it hard to justify continued operations.
Please consider supporting us by delegating to our pool!!! Thank you all!
I think there is a MASSIVE disconnect between the few VIDEO content creators left and the rest of the Cardano community, so let me shed some light on the issue.
My life fell apart in the last year (largely because I over-invested my time creating Cardano content in the last 5 years). Video content creators (like developers, programmers, business managers, and other professions that drive this industry forward) the job requires a substantial amount of skill. The difference is that it’s the only high-skilled role that isn’t compensated in a traditionally full-time capacity.
So what happens when people can’t pay the bills? Life at home gets filled with stress, desperation for survival increases and families fall apart. That’s what happened to me. And it’s MUCH more of a reality for others than any of you think it is.
Cardano-dedicated content creation is a BAD investment and everybody knows it. Cardano-dedicated content creators are becoming a thing of the past and the trend WILL continue unless something is done to change it.
If you’re ok with a future WITHOUT any Cardano-dedicated creators at all and the biggest creators only talk about Cardano as a passing mention with hardly any dedicated research, that’s the only valid reason to vote the influencer proposal down. (I know for a fact that a few major crypto creators used to watch MY videos as research for their own content). Cardano can’t be competitive if there isn’t any dedicated and passionate community members that actually know what the hell they’re talking about spreading that information ON VIDEO. The tech WILL NOT speak for itself, it must be displayed and demonstrated. The best product in the world can fail with nobody around to spread the word.
Also, the proposal is not that expensive AT ALL. It’s a drop in the bucket and it barely keeps the lights on for the recipients. In the risk-reward analysis, this should be a no brainer. Stop being petty and difficult, you’re almost literally starving important people OUT of the Cardano ecosystem. This proposal deserves an upvote.
I am thinking about paying influencers from Treasury and whether it should be a full time job for them.
From my perspective, a successful influencer does not need Treasury funding because they can monetize their content.
They can make paid promotional videos for DeFi projects or other ecosystems. They can be paid by YouTube and X. The Cardano Foundation has an ambassador program.
Many of our influencers have received grants from Catalyst. This has significantly supported their entry into the scene.
They have significant social capital that they can monetize.
It is easy for influencers to promote their staking pool. Well-known influencers are often big DReps. They are often contacted by teams that are willing to pay for their content (I get such offers).
Each proposal must be seen in the context of others.
There are 69 proposals in the Intersect budget process. I don't see much room for paying full job salaries to influencers at the moment.
I hate to say it, but it's a reality.
I respect all content creators. I'm one of them myself. I know very well how demanding it is to create content.
I see it as a hobby. I'm happy with what I get from CF.
CF owns the Cardano brand. Maybe it's a good idea to discuss with them the possibility of increasing investment in marketing and content creators.
Maybe dedicate staking rewards from one of their pools to content creators.
Treasury resources are limited. Content creators should think about how to monetize their content.
Treasury funding should be distributed in a structured, targeted, and fair manner.
If we need something like that, we should think about supporting everyone, not paying the best who have already received support in the past. Maybe it's a good idea to support new influencers.
Maybe we need to invest in professional marketing instead. Such proposals are also in the Intersect budget process.
I'd be happy to hear your opinions.
I might be out of the game right now but I'm still rooting for content creators on Cardano! If we don't have an active/engaged community, we don't have a future.
Retention is half the battle and, without video-content creators, enthusiasm will continue to fade.

Everybody drop what you’re doing! @LaPetiteADA dropped a new video! 😱
This is the BEST game trailer I’ve seen this year! Absolutely incredible. This is unlike ANYTHING I’ve ever seen out of @InfinityRisingX. They’re really leveling up their game!

The same principle goes for everything and anything that takes more than it gives will cause burnout, including content creation on Cardano.

Just joined the Infinity Rising Discord and the welcome was honestly overwhelming.
So many people offering help, explaining things, inviting me to guilds.
Had to close Discord for a bit just to process it 😅
Rare to see this kind of community energy in Web3 gaming.
BREAKING: @IOHK_Charles Acknowledges KOL/Creator Problem on Cardano
Despite growing up in an Asian household, I only JUST learned that the celebratory “Gung hay fat choy” literally translates to “I hope you get rich.”
Why do we save this for only one occasion a year? Crypto people need to hear this often.
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

Midnight mainnet is coming.
On the #ConsensusHK stage, we shared that Midnight mainnet will officially go live before the end of March. This marks a major milestone and the beginning of a live, production network designed to support early applications built around selective disclosure and real-world privacy.
Mainnet is foundational. It provides a stable environment for builders to launch, test, and iterate, while setting the stage for rapid protocol and tooling expansion ahead.
Join the conversation LIVE as we unpack how to get started with Midnight mainnet and what to expect.
