Did you know we run an FA ‘Just Play’ session for ladies of any ability?
We focus on ‘fun, fitness and football’ and get together on a Friday at 17:30.
If that’s something you or your friends might be interested in, please get in touch.
They arrived this afternoon.
I used them with my U8s this evening.
The level of effort and engagement in the SSG is always pretty good but it was next level. Some of the card matchups were interesting… this pair turned a 4-2 lead around but gave the losers new incentive.
Never stop learning.
Written by my friend @YiannakiChris, I can’t wait to dig in to the academic study behind Futsal.
I’m late to the party, but I’m getting there.
That Dele Alli interview was a tough listen.
With the best intent in the world, nobody could have known what was going on or helped him any more than they did, meanwhile everyone else was unaware and wondering "what went wrong?" with him and his career.
Just ordered my #MatchPlay cards from @The_CoachingLab. Looking forward to getting to use them soon.
Preach that.
I'm guilty of over analysing myself both as a coach but as a person and you do just have to remember you ARE allowed to learn from it and let it go.

.@Teamgrassroots_ Had my U7s presentation evening on Sunday.
One of the boys got this for my 14 year old son who helps us coach the team and referees our friendly games and the key rings for me and my coaches.
What a beautiful and thoughtful gesture.
I’ve been privileged to have been part of the ‘FA Grassroots Consultation’ evening at Turf Moor hosted by @Teamgrassroots_
A fantastic evening with likeminded coaches and some brilliant discussion.
Hopefully we’ll start to see the fruits of these meetings implemented from 2024.
This is cool….
I’ve been invited to take part in an FA consultation evening talking about grassroots football.
Played ‘naughts and crosses’ (amongst other ‘games’) with my Under 7s last night and they absolutely loved it.
Does anyone have any other fun games like this that they do? I’d be interested to hear of others.

It’s been a minute but the first 1-to-1 session of the summer at the Morton Dome is in the books.
Absolutely loved it.
If this had a layer of frost over the top, would we play on it?
Just because it summer, why are persisting on playing on rock hard surfaces?

We are considering putting together a fun and friendly ladies-only football session on for a Friday evening
If this seems like something you (or your family/friends) might be interested in, please reply to this post or send us a direct message
What’s going on here then, @FA?
