Not a new comment. The thing about radio is that there will always be people in their cars or places like an office where they want to follow a game, but actually watching it is impractical.

Pet peeve… broadcasters talking about the high percentage of this crowd that flew down from Milwaukee. Yes, I’m sure plenty did, but northern teams often take over Florida stadiums even for random regular season games because so many transplants live in FL and keep their teams

💯 sometimes the SID and coach will pronounce a player’s name differently. There’s an art to writing a pronunciation guide for game notes and some it do better than others. Using tech to cut out the middle man is always best when you can’t ask the player directly.

Not nice at all. I thought it was a good college town when I was there last year. I appreciated the variety of local coffee shops, hospitality, and a couple Friday night adult beverages at the bar, singular. Hotel was solid. Would gladly go back as the ESPN assignment wheel spins
I was fortunate enough to make my BYU debut last fall. It did not disappoint. Stunning scenery and a fun atmosphere at the stadium.
