Already late and stopped at a bakery. Bye, man.
My nail tech just lost a loyal customer over TWENTY MINUTES, and honestly, I expected better treatment! I’d booked a 10 a.m. appointment but stopped at a bakery and arrived at 10:22. She said she could still do a basic polish, but there wasn’t enough time for my nail extensions because another client was booked at 11:30. I told her I’d already made the trip and the next girl could wait a little. She replied, “She booked her appointment just like you booked yours.” EXCUSE ME?!

Should I panic buy lots of items so that Supermarket profits get a boost, which when combined with Black Friday and Christmas spending artificially inflates GDP in early 2027 thereby enabling the government and BBC News to announce "Good News on Growth" just as Fuel Bills go up?

🚨 THIS SHOULD ALARM EVERY PARENT IN ENGLAND. Tomorrow, the Government is expected to receive 27 recommendations on tackling antisemitism in schools and colleges. Among the reported proposals: • Schools to reconsider political symbols, including Palestinian watermelon badges. • New guidance on teaching the Israel–Palestine conflict, emphasising political impartiality. • Greater scrutiny of how teachers discuss geopolitical issues. • Encouraging schools to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism, including its controversial examples relating to Israel. Let me be absolutely clear... Antisemitism must be challenged wherever it exists. Jewish children deserve to feel safe in every school. But this is not about antisemitism. IT IS ABOUT BRAINWASHING OUR CHILDREN TO COVER UP OUR GOVERNMENT'S COMPLICITY IN WAR CRIMES. What the hell are we doing when expressing solidarity with Palestinians becomes something schools are encouraged to challenge? When teachers are expected to demonstrate political impartiality, who decides what constitutes impartiality? And since when should the documented genocide and displacement of Palestinians be treated as simply another political opinion? Human rights ARE NOT a partisan position. International law IS NOT a matter of political preference. The slaughtering of civilians IS NOT something we should teach children to be indifferent about. Education is being hijacked for political conditioning rather than encouraging children to think critically. If we reach a point where children are discouraged from showing solidarity with victims of oppression, where teachers fear telling the truth about atrocities, and where political impartiality becomes a euphemism for silence, then we have crossed a truly terrifying, line. Education should teach children to recognise injustice, question authority and stand up for humanity, not to condition them to look the other way when those in power are responsible. And if our Government is more concerned about children wearing Palestinian badges than the suffering those badges represent, then we need to ask ourselves a very serious question: Are we educating the next generation to prevent the atrocities of history from happening again, or teaching them how to accept them when they do? #GazaGenocide @andyburnham @jeremycorbyn @ZackPolanski @KemiBadenoch @owenjonesjourno @Heccles94 @zarahsultana
BREAKING: A landmark government report is set to reveal the vast scale of antisemitism in English schools and colleges, Sky News can exclusively reveal. The report, written by former schools inspector Sir David Bell, will on Wednesday set out 27 recommendations to create change.

Second-hand car dealers who wind back odometers to disguise a vehicle’s true mileage will also be added to the official list of banned practices  The Government will consult next year on private parking debt recovery fees, including on whether to cut the existing £70 cap or scrap the fees altogether  Burnham says: "Being a few minutes late back to your car or typing one digit of your numberplate wrong shouldn’t end with a hefty fine landing on your doormat. These charges leave people feeling ripped off and out of pocket, so I’m putting a stop to them"

Mind you, Variety is the high school bully… will never forget what they tried to do to Sinners lmfao
Ben Affleck says the "high-school bullying" of Tom Cruise's "Digger" will only lead to Hollywood studios making more "sh*tty" movies. "Everybody wants to celebrate this bomb as if it’s the most exciting thing to happen. And you think like, it’s a pretty ambitious, interesting movie made by interesting people who have talent. Everybody wants to count the money, what it lost or whatever. To me, I just think, if you punish movies that take risks, guess what you're going to get? A bunch of sh*tty homogenized movies. You cannot do something interesting without taking a big swing. And that means you're going to sometimes look bad." (via Happy Sad Confused) wp.me/pc8uak-1lHXy0

So who is GCSE English a free A* for then ☹️
Replying to @jaycubedd
Unlike French or German, even Mandarin or Arabic, GCSEs like Polish and Urdu only exist to give bilingual kids a free A* because no one else would ever pick them. That’s an unfair advantage over children who actually have to learn all their GCSE subjects.

Femicide should be globally considered a crime against humanity. She had her daughter in her arms...
23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez was killed and her 8-month-old daughter was critically injured when the pair was pushed from a 15-floor balcony at a Bronx apartment building Tuesday. It happened at 2550 Olinville Ave. in Allerton at 3:38 a.m. “I heard her yelling and screaming, ‘Please don’t do this, that’s my baby! My baby is scared, look at her face,'” a woman told ABC 7 New York. “That’s when, the next thing you know, I heard her scream and I see something hit the ground.” Investigators “determined that both individuals had been pushed from a balcony,” the NYPD reported. Witnesses told cops she and the baby had been shoved off. Cops are looking to question a boyfriend she recently split up with but have not labeled him a suspect. Ramirez’s death has been deemed a homicide by the NYPD but no arrests have been made. There have been numerous reports of domestic violence at the home resulting in arrests over the past few years. As part of this whole pension conversation, I also don’t think the pension gender pay gap is talked about enough On average, women retire with £136,000 less than men because of lower contributions due to working part-time & taking time out of work to care for dependents

AI music is actually soulless and incredibly shit
I am not joking when I say this. Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over. AI music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all AI music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago. Suno v6 pro et al has solved infinite personalized music.
