The ministers for war, Pete Hegseth, Richard Marles and Wes Streeting have announced the first US nuclear submarine on ‘rotation’ in Perth next year will be the USS Colorado.
It will immediately make Perth a nuclear target.
A growing number of Australians think the Albanese government hasn’t explained why Australia might need nuclear subs. Only 23% of people think it has.
Scrap AUKUS now!

Cessnock branch of the ALP in the NSW Hunter has unanimously backed this motion calling for Labor to dissolve AUKUS and reject any foreign military bases on Australian soil. Labor members across the country want to kick AUKUS into touch.
Labor MP for Shellharbour in the NSW Parliament, @a_watson62 Anna Watson, has said she has listened to the "overwhelming majority" in her community and does not support an AUKUS nuclear submarine base at Port Kembla.
Thank you Anna!

At today’s International Day of Peace Rally to End AUKUS @JackHoward1938 speaks on behalf of Labor Against War.

Trump's 'AUKUS whisperer' saying the quiet part out loud. We all know AUKUS is about locking Australia into any future US war with China, and not about Australian self-defence. We must stop following America into its wars.
Dump AUKUS.

Richard Marles is selling Australia's future to the Trump administration and accelerating US military presence in Australia. We have to reject this headlong rush to militarism and break off this drive to war.
No US troops. No US subs. Dump AUKUS.
We were appalled to see Christopher Pyne hanging around ALP conference in Adelaide last month with his fingers in the pie.
