Lablass

Agreed - Joy is fab,and so are her labs. It was such an honour to be allowed one of hers. Unfortunately we lost Rufus last year to thyroid cancer at just 8 years old. Joy didn't have any pups available then but young Percy (18 months) is by Leospring Magnet, keeping it family.

Leospring Rufus Oaknut. aka Rufus

Kisinana Onyx. aka Percy

Is your household like ours - just as when the children were younger, our labs also know that when their full 'proper' name is used.....they are in BIG trouble!

We have a visitor from the Principality tonight @ModelRailClub. But where are 'Jones the Steam' and Idris?

So good to see you up and about and home.

Looking at the WW1 Hunslet at the Leighton Buzzard Light Railway today. The 1:32 kit is coming - but the valve gear will be a challenge.

Having a session on looking after your locos. Andy doing a great job with lots of questions being asked.

Thank you for such wonderful photos over the years, especially the buildings. Filled with inspiration for modellers like me, and a wonderful colour reference for fading beauty. Hope you pick up some more followers from the modelling family..

Happy @NationalDogDay from Percy.

117 rivets down with 55 to go....and I only have 55 left on the sprues/no spares - the definition of true jeopardy! #WW1 #WDLRHClass

Tink's got good taste as Percy loves his cow too. We have to stop him chewing the ears off as that is the mark of an extra special favourite (for some wierd Percyish reason)

Percy loves a bit of low level foraging - even the red ones.

I hope Mrs Wilberforce doesn't object.

I could help with that.

At my dad's funeral his cricket buddies asked if I was 'still a missionary down south' - in other words, spreading the good news of Yorkshire to the poor southerners. Still working at it.

Sounds like a phrase a Yorkshire vet would use. Although I have lived south of Watford for years I'm still a born and bred Tyke at heart.

Is it like a household of women - do all three girls come into season at the same time? Just asking...I only ever have boys, they just do interesting things with cushions and toys during puberty.

About 6 weeks ago hubby was taking the cover off the caravan towbar and found a full nest - not sure who was more surprised!. All gone a weeks later. Apparently only 2 weeks between building nest and fledging for Robins. V quick but high mortality. Hope your fella makes it.
