It is the working class of America that makes this country move.
Not Wall Street stockbrokers.
Not real estate speculators.
Not hedge fund managers.
Not billionaires.
Not CEOs taking exorbitant compensation packages while cutting the benefits of workers.
Workers have the power.

One of the most beautiful things to see in this country right now is that when workers go on strike millions of people automatically stand with them. Like people just know not to cross a picket line and to boycott products in solidarity with the workers.

"The economy would collapse if we cancelled student debt!”
No one has been forced to pay student loans for almost two years and the economy hasn’t collapsed.

BREAKING: IATSE Members in TV and Film Production Voted to Authorize the first nationwide industry strike in our 128-year history.
98.68% voted yes, and voter turnout among eligible members was nearly 90% #IASolidarity #IATSEVoted

The time is now. Do we do what the American people want? Do we fulfill what democracy is supposed to be about? Or does Congress, yet again, bow down to powerful special interests?
That's what this struggle is about.
The IATSE will announce the results of their strike authorization vote Oct 4th. If the vote passes, IATSE leadership will have the authority to call for a strike if they so choose. Their Take Action page provides a variety of ways to support their cause: iatse.net/take-action/
