ALT The latest Environment Canada lightning strike map, showing widespread lightning activity across Labrador this evening.
Looks like the smoke layer descended into some river valleys on the Lower North Shore of Quebec this morning. The valleys of the Mecatina, Etamamiou, and Olomane Rivers are easily made out.
There is some serious smoke inbound to a lot of Labrador communities.
