Indiana congresswoman says, “You violated the law, you don’t get due process.” These are the same lawmakers who oppose Red Flag Laws because they don’t provide armed domestic abusers with … due process.

Elon Musk doubling down on calling Senator Kelly a "traitor" is beyond the pale. Senator Kelly is a decorated Navy vet who’s devoted his life to serving our country. Musk, on the other hand, has only ever served himself.

The disclosure of highly classified information in a group chat wasn’t just some one-off security failure. It was a window into how this Administration operates: with incompetence, recklessness, contempt for the truth, & a reflexive impulse to cover things up. I'll explain🧵

This is a call out to everyone in Columbus, Ohio. The “Proud Boys” are planning to protest the Tesla protest tomorrow, Saturday March 29th. Show out in numbers they can’t fathom. This is how we fight back!

As I've said repeatedly this week, if I had shared classified information when I was in the Air Force like @SecDef @DNIGabbard and @MikeWaltz47 did on Signal, I would have walked my resignation into my colonel's office and expected to be relieved of duty immediately.
“If anybody else within the military had done this, they would have been relieved of duty immediately. … It gets to the larger problem … There are no standards. There is no truth.“ Ranking Member @RepAdamSmith on @POTUS's weak response to his Administration sharing highly sensitive military information over an unsecured public messaging app in advance of military operations.

If you haven’t yet noticed that Donald Trump is an incompetent idiot who just craves power & couldn’t care less about you, I’m sorry but I can’t help you. I’ll still try to save your Social Security, your Medicare, your Medicaid & your country though.

Every freedom-loving American should be deeply alarmed by what this admin is doing to ordinary people they don't agree with. Masked men are nabbing students off the streets. We’re on a slippery slope to authoritarianism. It’s un-American and, yet again, reveals just what a petty tyrant Donald Trump really is. bostonglobe.com/2025/03/28/o…

Have y'all noticed how everytime a Trump official goes on tv to talk about an accomplishment of their department, they have to pay homage to Lord Trump? 😂 Trump official: today we deported 10 people, all glory to President Trump. Trump official: Today we saved 100k dollars over here, all because of the amazing leadership of king Trump. Trump official: We bombed these people over there, all because of the greatest President ever, President Trump. It's hilarious but it's actually pretty creepy and dystopian too.

The world's oldest democracy reduced to a drugged out oligarch handing out million dollar checks to buy off voters every time there's an election. Absolutely pathetic and humiliating behavior straight out of like, 19th century Latin America

Imagine getting deported from a country where you’re a legal resident. A country that calls itself a democracy. A country whose most prestigious government scholarship, the Fulbright, you won. All because you coauthored this nuanced & articulate op-ed in the student newspaper ⬇️

I’ve taught college for 30 years so I am confident saying that the students being abducted by ICE from our campuses are our best. They are the ones we stay up late for, writing elaborate comments on their brilliant work, hoping they will feel our respect and gratitude

Dear Ma & Pa MAGA, Now, I know reality is about as useful to you as a National Anthem not sung by terrorists, a thesaurus and a new toothbrush, but it doesn’t change the fact that you don’t get to pick what’s real and what’s not like it’s the goddamn Golden Corral. “Whoopsies” drunk-texting a journalist battle plans, attack plans, war plans, military operational plans or whatever the fuck you want to call plans regarding the when and with what you’re going to bomb another country, is not “good”. It is not a “sign of strength”. It’s not “proof” that the leads in our intelligence apparatus “communicate with each other”. It’s not “human imperfection”. And it is not “the fault” of a “woke leftist reporter.” It is a major fuck up. It’s not “irrelevant” because the mission was “successful” even though we don’t actually know that it was. It’s not “like Hillary’s emails” or “Biden’s garage”. It’s stupid, lazy, incompetent, arrogant, egregious recklessness that could have been catastrophic. And it is fundamentally antithetical to protecting our national security and the safety of our troops. And while I know you are required by some fucked up oath of blind fealty you swore to in a Facebook chat for fucking morons, posting about it being a “nothingburger”, is literally pathetic, because even you know this is bad. You know it’s really bad. And it scares the fuck out of you. As it should. This doesn’t “own the Libs”, it doesn’t make us “cry harder”, it isn’t “winning”, and it sure as shit is not making America “great”. Again, or at fucking all. And you know it. Your incel chat room rage jerk pals know it, your kids know it, your dog knows it, hell, that fake plant you put in your front yard tire topiary knows it. So cut the shit. And call this insanity what it is. Because like it or not, we’re all strapped into the same motherfucking rollercoaster, and the track your shitty-ass “heroes” are ripping up ahead of us, is the one you’re riding on too.

These law firm executive orders are the simplest First Amendment test imaginable: "Should the government punish businesses that petition for policies it does not agree with?" And 90% of the free speech absolutists on here are flunking it.
