🖤💛 COMMITTED! 💛🖤 I’m so excited and blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and softball career at Pfeiffer University! 🥎🎓 Sometimes the plans we make for ourselves are nothing compared to what God has in store for us. His timing is always perfect, even when the path looks different than we imagined. I’m so thankful that every unexpected turn has led me to a place I’m so excited to call home! 🙏🏼 For those who know my journey, you know it hasn’t always been easy. Breaking my back made me question whether I would ever play the sport I love again. But God never left my side, and now I’m committed to play softball at an amazing school. I wouldn’t be here today without Him holding my hand through it all! ❤️ I want to thank my mom and dad for being so patient and supportive throughout this entire process. Even when things got stressful, y’all never missed a beat and always reassured me that you were there for me. I couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you to my counselor, Teena Wyatt, for your honesty, guidance, and for helping me mentally through every step of this journey. To every travel ball coach, showcase coach, and coach I’ve had the opportunity to play with and guest play with, thank you for the role you’ve played in my softball career. Every lesson and opportunity has helped shape me into the player I am today. A special thank-you to my hitting coaches over the years, Evie Johnson and Tyler Odell, for pushing me, believing in me, and helping guide me in the right direction. 🥎 I would also love to thank Coach Sherrill, Coach Felts, and Coach Gary for making this experience extra special and for constantly encouraging me throughout this journey. Your support and belief in me have meant so much, and I’m so grateful to have had you all be a part of this chapter! Most importantly, thank You, God, for carrying me through every obstacle and blessing me with this opportunity. This journey has taught me that even when we don’t understand the plan, God is always working behind the scenes. His plans are greater than our own, and I’m so excited for this next chapter!
