Itβs hard to believe there are good guys fighting for us against the bad guys and then find out itβs rigged. Trump was right about that! It could easily lead me to be despondent and give up but it just makes me fight harder. I will not obey in advance.

Youβre welcome. Everyone deals with medical procedures their own way. Iβm a complete anxiety freak about everything else but I always try to avoid catastrophic thinking with procedures because they can help so much. Iβm sending you love and strength. ππ

Considering how hard it is to have a spinal tap (I watched one but never had it myself), itβs over pretty quick. I had an MRI on my skull twice. I just focused on my breathing and practiced stillness exercises beforehand. It helped me to get better.
This is heartbreaking. My condolences to the family and my heartfelt love for this beautiful young man to donate his organs. Thatβs what a loving soul does.
It is such a tragic end for such a young man. Life can be incredibly cruel sometimes, no matter how many precautions we take. May he rest in eternal peace.π₯Ήπ₯Ή
Eliot Abramson was 17 years old, a sophomore at Mercer Island High School near Seattle.
On June 1, during a college recruiting showcase, a fast-moving lacrosse ball struck him at the base of his neck, just below his helmet. He lost consciousness immediately and collapsed on the turf. A firefighter who happened to be at the game rushed over and helped keep his heart beating until first responders arrived.
Eliot was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he spent nearly a week in the ICU.
On June 7, he died.
His mother Jessica wrote a tribute that stayed with everyone who read it.
"We have read him every note that was sent or posted, and we have heard and told a lot of 'Eliot stories.' We have laughed and cried more than we could have imagined, and we have been held up by all your prayers, love, and support."
She also shared that Eliot is now with his biological father Josef, who died when Eliot was just 3 years old.
Eliot had just received his driver's license a few months before his death. He chose to be an organ donor. His final gift will save lives.
A celebration of life was held June 15 at Herzl-Ner Tamid Synagogue in Mercer Island.
Mercer Island High School called him "a loving friend, an exceptional student, and an avid lacrosse player with a smile that could light up the room."
Eliot Abramson. Mercer Island, Washington. 17 years old.
Please keep his mom Jessica and their family in your prayers.
