Well today was Tom’s last day on work experience at @Gateshead_NHS @GatesheadOD.He has worked in main reception, switchboard, estates and pharmacy. I am so grateful to the team in @QeFacilities who have supported him. Thank you #workexperience #odandlearning

The team on ward14a fulfilled a patient's last wish and organised a wedding last week. Heather and her partner of 40 years, Paul were able to get married with the support of our staff. Heather expressed her gratitude for the fantastic support from all staff at Gateshead Health

Did you know that the basic training for Sterile Services takes 6 months and a further 6 weeks for Endoscopy decontamination? However the team's training can be ongoing for several years, as kit can be extremely complex and come to the service infrequently. #Adayinthelife
