🚨 Roman Abramovich’s custodian: “Return the club. Or we sue.”
“On the basis of recent discoveries, Mr Abramovich has filed a lawsuit against the Football Association and the United Kingdom government.
It is our position that the government and its trustees illegally constructed the paperwork that forced the owner to surrender Chelsea Football Club, and that promoted the sale.
At no point did the owner breach the rules governing club ownership in this country. That is the basis of the claim.
The demands are clear. Immediate return of ownership rights. An official apology from the former FA Chair. Compensation of £10 billion. None of these demands are open to negotiation.
If this lawsuit does not receive a fair hearing, we are prepared to take the matter to the highest court governing the sport.
We restate that the sale of the club was illegal. It was agreed only because the stability of the club was the priority. The actions of the former Chair were driven by personal interest, not by the rules.
The situation at Manchester City makes the point. The owners have been managed and protected despite an extraordinary volume of alleged breaches. That is a shame. This league deserves better leadership, fair judgement, and integrity. What is happening at City has damaged the atmosphere of English football and exposed the failure of those charged with protecting it.
The sale was illegal. We will contest the decision. Accepting the sale at the time was not weakness. It was a decision made to protect the club. That position has changed.
Return the club to our client, or we will pursue this franchise and this government through every court available. Russian investment in British territory is not small.
We will not accept intimidation.
The former FA Chair should be brought in for questioning. We have evidence of her conduct. Do not test the resolve.”

There's a pupil in my school who is brilliant, well-behaved, and coordinated, but life hasn't been easy for his parents.
He comes to school with only a bottle of kunnu and no food.
I told my wife to include him in our breakfast, and I'm happy she listened.
Education is not just about teaching; it's also about caring. ❤️🙏
Food and puff puff will be giving to him this morning.

"People said he was too old and you saw (vs Bournemouth) what he does. Everyone in the dressing room knows what he can do. He's probably still the fittest player at the club to be honest. He's a machine."
"People forget about his football because they just think he's experienced. But the guy can still play football. He's won everything in the game."

🇧🇷 Filipe Luís speaking about the biggest regret of his career:
🗣️ “I’m going to open my heart and talk about the biggest regret of my career. If there’s one thing I regret having done and wish I could go back in time and not do it, it was against Di María.
I arrived at Atlético, we were going to play against Real Madrid, and Agüero told me: ‘Filipe, if you get close to him, he’ll lose it, he’ll be out of the game. In the first one, talk to him about his wife.’ And I went up and said to him: ‘Your wife blah blah blah.’ I cursed her, I uttered his wife’s name... And there he looked at me, he was downcast, I won the whole game against him. And he really didn’t have a good game.
I got home and regretted it so much... Di María, I’m truly sorry, today I ask you for forgiveness.”
