Chaser Fraser with yet another ridiculous goal. The smile at the camera after is perfect. @PatMcAfeeShow he did it again.

Owen Hiltz to Finn Thomson, backhand shovel feed, to backhand shovel shot. As pretty as it gets on one of the biggest stages either player has played. @CuseMLAX
New player ratings are out, and Syracuse's Joey Spallina jumped from #7 to #4 after his 8 point outburst against Princeton. Hiltz & Spallina are now #3 & #4 respectively. Dude can't beat anybody haha...

2025 LaxFactor Ratings, rates offensive production, efficiency and hustle...
1. CJ Kirst, 100
2. Sam King, 93.68
3. Owen Hiltz, 86.6
4. Jack Speidell, 86.15
5. Chris Kavanagh, 86.15
6. Liam connor, 85.52
7. Joey Spallina, 85.02
8. Jackson Eicher, 83.62
9. Mikey Weisshaar, 83.43
Biggest surprise when I put this together was Owen Hiltz hitting #3. Because he wasn't a points leader I hadn't layered him in until Monday and I was pleasantly surprised to see him float right to the top thanks to timely goals and being a big man up threat.
Another surprise was Speidell coming in at #4, giving Harvard 2 of the top 4 spots. Speidell is breaking my algo because of his high shooting percentage (mixed with a tight spread when factoring on goal percentage) as well as 7 man up goals and a game winner.
*Also note, in my 3 years of doing this, CJ Kirst is the first player to ping 100. There are a couple of protections built in that prevent a player from hitting 100. He blew through them all.
Me over the last 5 to 10 minutes of that @CuseMLAX game...
The only upside for @CuseMLAX so far is they couldn't possibly have played more poorly in the first 17 minutes, and it's only 3-1.
Is Finn Thomson a problem, or is he exactly what we all need in a friend? Sick #BTB of the #QuickStick variety out of Thomson in Syracuse's win over Duke in the ACC Tournament finals.
My take on the bracket...
(1) Harvard deserved the bid "based on the criteria they used". Harvard checked more boxes. It's simple.
(2) Ohio State drawing Notre Dame is brutal, but it happens every year
(3) 6 of the 8 first round games are ripe for an "upset".

Talking @OhioStateMLAX & Big Tasty getting their first B1G title, @CuseMLAX over @NDlacrosse to book the Orange's at large, @SpiderMLAX and their defense getting the job done and more.
The @CuseMLAX comeback bid against @UNCMensLacrosse fell short, but it was an interesting watch and is an example of why you have to continue to play disciplined lacrosse through the last whistle. Cuse didn't do that on Saturday. If they had, things could have been different.
