update: this is not true, i have been informed of at least one other trans woman making it to the women's. possibly with different medical needs tho, or the prison was just telling lies and putting me through all that bullshit for a laugh idk

the head nurse said i was the first trans woman in the prison they'd put in the women's section in 17 years. on the way out of 4 weeks of solitary the screws told me not to tell anyone under any circumstances. thus commenced the most high stakes voice training exercise of my life
