HISTORY MADE. RECORDS BROKEN. A WEEK JOHNNY STEWART WILL NEVER FORGET🏆
Johnny Stewart arrived at the 2026 Manx Grand Prix with one major ambition — to secure the 36th and final place in the prestigious Tommy Club.
He achieved it on the opening lap of his first race.
What followed was beyond anything he could have imagined.
Four races. Four victories. And a place in the history books as the only rider in the 103-year history of the Manx Grand Prix to win four races in a single week.
But behind those results is quite a story — from starting racing relatively late, spending his house deposit on motorcycles and sleeping in a van, to the friends, family and fellow competitors who helped make his remarkable MGP possible.
Johnny sat down with us to reflect on an extraordinary 2026, what those four victories really meant and where his racing journey could take him next.

Absolutely shocking treatment of my wife & terrible service from .@BootsHelp .@BootsUK
on the #Isleofman today on strand street from the Pharmacy staff! ☹️🇮🇲
#Boots #PoorService #Douglas @PoorService @macmillancancer #Macmillan .@isleofmantoday .@ManxRadio @3FMradio
I’ve just had the most horrible experience .@BootsHelp in Douglas on the Isle of Man. Asked at pharmacy for disabled toilet key, told don’t have one anymore, go to M & S. Wouldn’t let me use staff loo despite my macmillan help card, I said I won’t get that far. She didn’t care!
Seems this very stressful .@BootsUKNews .@BootsHelp situation is of interest to a number of news outlets so we will be discussing with them tomorrow.
Hopefully @BootsUK stores in the future, have more than one key and a backup plan in place to look after customers! ☹️
My wife also phoned the #Boots #Isleofman store on Strand Street three times today to raise a complaint and to speak to a manager.
Left her number/details with 3 different people and didn’t receive a call back! 🤷🏻♂️
